She is definitely "interesting."
One thing for sure you won't have to worry about -- she will never be another Hillary, so she won't ever run for president (nor is she legally able to be president).
I am disturbed that she just became a democrat one year ago, but hey, the swing voters might like that about her.
Let's focus on the man who is at the TOP of the ticket: John Kerry.
Gop 4 life!

I do believe that I've fianlly found a female Democrat more bizarre than Hilliary.

This woman is indeed a nutjob, she didn't even mention her husband until 15 inutes into the speech.

Most of it was self indulging garbage.

But did any of you guys catch Teddy Misdemenor Kennedy?

It was great, it took him 3 tries to finally pronounce suburbs, and then his voice broke as if he was going through puberty!

It was hysterical! laugh.gif
Huey_P
wow.

more substantive Republican critique of the issues!!

it greatly increases my respect and regard for Republicans when members of their party are so busy making character assassinations of convention speakers that they cant comment on the life or death issues facing our country!

Speaking about Teresia, here is a nice article in The American Thinker, All About Teresia.
QUOTE
Teresa Heinz Kerry made it through her unprecedented speech at the Democratic National Convention without losing control of her famous temper, losing her place in the well-rehearsed speech, or otherwise providing dramatic entertainment. But she was just plain weird.

It goes on
QUOTE
Acknowledging the applause, and maybe the signs, her first words were, “Thank-you. Thank-you. I love you, too.” Nothing about how honored she is to be addressing the convention and the nation. Just an acknowledgement of the assumed love for HER. Though the crowd had already stopped cheering and applauding, she gestured with her hands to quiet them, as if her body were programmed in advance to do so. The hands lingered a few moments too long, hanging there in front of her while the audience was silent.

“Thank-you Christopher. Your father would be proud of you and your brothers.”

Now this is getting downright creepy. Long before any mention of her current husband, she invokes the memory of her dead Republican first husband, Senator John Heinz, whose family fortune she now spends on behalf of a Democrat, and in support of extreme left wing causes through the Tides Foundation. Would Senator Heinz be proud that his son spoke before a Democratic convention, solely because his stepfather was the presumptive nominee?

I realize that I am violating my own rule about using only a short tease, but this is just too good, so I will appologize up front to GOP and others for violating the rules.
QUOTE
Conventional wisdom holds that nobody votes for a First Lady, that candidates’ wives may be interesting, but are unimportant in voting. I am not so sure this time around. John Kerry’s choices for spouse share one thing in common: vast wealth. That kind of money affects the behavior of those around it, the same way that black holes bend the waves of light and gravity. The candidate himself has been living in this bizarre environment of marriage to great wealth for decades. The strange, somewhat disturbing woman, who bears all the marks of the one in charge, may well be even more influential than Hillary Rodham Clinton, given an opportunity to live in the White House.

Speaking of Hillary, the cameras caught only a couple of glimpses of her in cutaway crowd shots. She did not look pleased. In fact, it looked as though her eyes were shooting death rays at Teresa. She may declare her loyalty to the ticket, but I would wager a substantial sum that behind the scenes, she will do everything she can to defeat the billionairess who could displace her as the most important woman in the Democratic Party. Hillary has always chafed at the humble economic status into which she was born. To have a rival endowed with endless, unearned wealth may be more than she can handle.

The last paragraph here is the money quote. And pay careful attention to the Hillary angle and why the Clintons will not allow JFK the lesser to reach the White House. And let's not forget that the leaking of those "cute little" sperm shots of JFK the lesser were most likely a result of the Clintons.

Do you still doubt that? Huey, are you listening? wink.gif
Huey_P
what is substantial about that article?

all i see is

1) a conspiracy theory about the Clinton's

2) bashing Teresa Heinz for having "unearned wealth" and potentially using her position as first lady as a business opportunity..

which, by the way, is exactly what George Bush has been doing with HIS unearned wealth.

im still failing to see the legitimate criticism here.

Huey,

When I state this, please don't take this personal. I mean no disrespect to you. Huey, with all honesty, I believe that if you cannot see the import of this article,if you think that it is Teresa bashing, and do not see this as informative criticism, then you will NEVER be able to see the point.

In other words Huey, I clearly see no hope for you EVER gaining any real logical perception with regards to political discourse.

And believe me, that is a terrible affliction to have to endure.

And don't forget that JFK jr. died in a suspicious plane crash after announcing to the democraps that he was going to run for the same Senatorial seat that hillbilly now holds. I have no doubt that she had something to do with his death. Kerry knew that if he had chosen her as a VP running mate, kerry never would have lived through his first term in office had he won. You want conspiracy theories, i have conspiracy theories.

check out http://alamo-girl.com/0221.htm if you want an organized breakdown of the clintons crimes. And please note how many of their adversaries died in plane crashes. Even Ron Brown who was in his cabinet died in a plane crash, but he had to because as soon as he got home from that trip the feds were going to arrest him for high crimes and misdemeanors for dealings that he had that would have led back to President Clinton.

John L, with your oh-so astute political mind, please show me what the "great import" of this article is.

once again, all i saw was a Clinton conspiracy theory and slamming Mrs. Heinz for having "unearned wealth".

if this Clinton conspiracy theory is of such "great import", please provide proof that somehow Bill & Hillary are secretly plotting to stop Kerry from winning the white house.

for is something is of such great relevence, substance and "import", there must surely be proof, right? there must surely be something factual u can show to back up these claims, right?

as far as Teresa Heinz using her position as First Lady as a business opportunity to spend her "unearned wealth"....... how is this any different than what George Bush is doing with HIS unearned wealth?

once again, repeating over and over and over that something is of "great import" doesnt prove anything.

please explain it to me, oh great one.

that is what was so insightful about the article. And that is why JFK the lesser willn to be allowed to win this election. HIllary and BillyBob are going to make a run in 2008 with or without Kerry. They would rather have him out of the way, so he will continue to have embarrassing things appear in the news. And it will not origionate from the Republicans.

And if this, for some G-d forsaken reason, doesn't work, she will have to start a rebellion, with Bill's help, at least two years before the next general election. I'm sure that you refuse to believe this, but frankly I don't care what you think about it. cool.gif
Huey_P
once again, i asked for proof, not speculation about a "Clinton conspiracy theory".

im not saying your theory doesnt make sense, obviously it would be better for Hillary if Kerry werent president come 2008....... but then again, it also makes sense that George Bush had ample warning before 9/11 but allowed it to happen in order to justify a domestic and foreign policy that otherwise wouldnt be possible.

but "making sense" doesnt mean anything.. PROOF means something.

so either u post some proof, or allow ALL theories that "make sense" to be considered.

but u simply cant pick and choose which theory u want to run with simply based on wether it coincides with your political ideology or not.

have a nice day, sir.

i expect to hear from u when u have PROOF of anything substantial in that speech critique.

Here is the latest on Teresa from Dick Morris. In
Teresia heinz Kerry becomes a Campaign Issue, Dick Morris displays just why he is perhaps the best political tactician in this country, if not the world. Plus he is just plain likable! smile.gif
QUOTE
Sen. John Kerry was crazy to let his wife speak on Tuesday night as the featured orator during the second night of his convention. (Or maybe he had no choice).

Where criticism of a candidate’s wife might have been seen as a foul, Mrs. Kerry is now a legitimate target for partisan barbs and arrows.

Why on earth did Kerry put her out there? Or was this a decision she made and forced his staff to ratify?

The questions about John Kerry can only be amplified by his decision to give his wife so prominent a role. Now each of the expenditures of her foundations, each action of her life, each statement she has ever made can be introduced into evidence by the Republicans, redounding not only to her detriment but to his.

Before Tuesday night, John Kerry had only two people to defend on his ticket.

Now, with her speech, he has three.

He is absolutely right here. And,.........it shows the ameteurish capabilities and actions of his campaign staff. This is going to get interesting before the November elections.

Stay tuned! News at 11! cool.gif

Good article and good point. I posted a small article yesterday that indicts her charity of working with the campaign which is illegal and will come out before this is over. It's going to get very interesting indeed.

im still waiting for legitimate criticism of Mrs. Heinz.

all ive seen so far is "Clinton conspiracy".. "Teresa's a wacko!" .. "John Kerry's crazy for letting his wife speak"

none of which are substantiated by fact.

sorry.
