In 43 years we've gone from one JFK challenging us to "ask not what your country can do for you" to another JFK promising "help is on the way!" Is the continued reduction on self-reliance and increase in government dependence really the recipe for continued success of the United States?

Here are my definitions:

Conservative:someone who takes responsibility for their own life.

Liberal: a victim that needs government intervention.

Personally I don't remember asking for Kerry’s help, and frankly I haven't heard anyone else asking for it either.

Someone want to tell me who's asking for help?

Is it one segment of the "Two Americas"?

Cause last time I checked this particular nominee and his trusty sidekick were worth nearly a billion dollars together, so we know which segment of the "two Americas" they are coming from...
