Political Topics And Discussion > All Things Political > US Presidential Campaign 2004

bush is playing on VERY THIN ICE with his illicit support of the swift boat vets for lies.

He has his own closetful of lies to hide about how he lied about his "service" in a previous political campaign:

So, bush zomboids, are you going to say it is unfair to bring this up? ###### HYPOCRITES!!

"Kerry, who volunteered to go to Vietnam and won five medals, has made his Vietnam service a central element of his campaign for the presidency. So there is nothing improper about examining his account of his Vietnam days, as long as such scrutiny is done in an honest and accurate fashion. But Bush overstated his own military record (which involved no combat, no derring-do, no wounds, and no enemy fire) for political purposes, and when he was caught doing so he stuck to a phony story. Yet no firestorm ensued. Will Republican funders now underwrite a group called Air Force Veterans for Truth that will demand that Bush withdraw his claim of membership in the Air Force? Don't expect such a shot soon. "

Where is your outrage at Kerry, who without a doubt has lied about his record for political purposes?

How disingenuous, and blatantly patisan.

Of course I am partisan!
Have I ever said any different?
And you are NOT partisan?
All I am saying is that you right wing zomboids have been blasting Kerry for weeks on this military thing, so baby, TURNABOUT IS FAIR PLAY.
You opened the can of worms, now SLITHER IN IT.
Kerry for Senator
One by one:

1) Yes you are, you clever devil, aren't you?
2) No probably not.
3) Not really partisan. I'm LP remember? Just find it laughable you would mention lying and military in the same breath, when Kerry is the main exemplar of such.
4) Hey, Kerry was the one who put his service out there. Personaly, I would rather discuss his lack luster career in the Senate.
5) What turn about?
6) Don't recall opening it, but sure, why not? I'll get naked and slither in it. tongue.gif
