Remember the deal bush made with the saudis, that they promise to lower oil prices before the election, to give an energy injection to the economy to make bush look better?
Well, does anyone else wonder if that is starting to happen NOW?
Kerry for Senator
So you're upset at the possibility of lower gas prices?

Wow TQ, you must be some sort of rich elitist. Had you entirely wrong. smile.gif

Taxes too low. Gas prices too low. Not enough spending. yada yada yada.

If Bush did have some connections that made it more beneficial for the U.S. people vis a vis supply of oil, all the more reason to vote for him. Does Kerry have such connections that will beneift the American people?

Oh yeah, Kerry has no connections, and wants a $0.50/gallon gas tax to boot.

He!! of an argument to vote for Kerry. blink.gif

You refuse to get it.
If this deal is true it is a TEMPORARY game to illegally fix the elections.
Then the prices shoot up right after the election.
Do you really approve of that?
Kerry for Senator
I really care more about the result than how we got there.

Hey, if Bush brings me lower gas prices, and Kerry a $0.50/gallon tax, then long live Bush.

I highly doubt that the Saudis jump when Bush moans, but you can make a conspiracy out of it if you want. blink.gif

No way to prove it either way at this time.
The TIMING is fishy is all.
Something to consider, when you look at the long ties of the bush family to the international oil industry.

No, you don't get it, you economic moron! wink.gif The price has been going up temporarily due to the percieved problems in the MidEast. And the shut down of the Iraqi pumps the other day just reopened again. Consequently, the price went down as concerned investors breathed a sigh of releif.

Plus, after Labour Day, the price will go down naturally, as it always does after Labour Day, you ninney. wink.gif

And just wait until that Chinese banking crisis actually happens. If you think that the price will not go down, just wait and see then.

So, go tip toe through the tulips over something else, you brilliant forecaster, you. cool.gif

Ninny, indeed.
It must be nice to be so sure of yourself that you know it all.
I am doubtful that you do.

Of course I don't know it all. However, when it comes to economics, almost Anyone knows more than you do. Understanding economics requires a good dose of logic, and of that you are sorely lacking. cool.gif

sleeping with the enemy

Bush and Saudi King.. already holding hands after the first date!

a handshake seals the deal....

"only pre-approved questions, please!"

"10 million dollars for 30 cannisters of Serin gas.. do we have a deal?"

Interesting.
I always got A's in the economics courses I took at my private elite New England college. I guess I should go complain about professorial malpractice.

Yes, it is interesting TQ. Quite telling here. Either the "private elite" college was not interested in teaching sound economics, you concentrated exclusively on good grades instead of learning something, or you have a degenerative brain disease.

Isn't the CDC located in Atlanta? Give them a call and see what they think about the disease part. rolleyes.gif

Thank you for your sincere concern, John.

TQ,

If Kerry becomes president, will you post his picture with Saud (there are such pictures with every administration), and proclaim him sleeping with the enemy?

I really can't wait to see this forum, if it continues to exist, in June '05.

All the beautiful rationalizations while what should be done to make this a better nation is cast to the way side.
