That's gotta be the biggest load of crap i've heard in a while.
I have no idea how Bush is a 'scared chicken' on 9/11 or any part of defending the country.
Kerry was a war hero. That's nice. By the way, it's how he's gonna run the country that counts, not whatever fearless stuff he did.

Excellent article
Bush is a coward, and only cowards can support such a man
QUOTE
... The attacks initially made me sorry I voted for him. For most of that day, as my wife and children stayed inside our house listening to the roar of fighter jets overhead, and black smoke from the Pentagon hovered above our neighborhood, Bush failed to return to Washington. My family sat unprotected a few miles from the scene of a terrorist attack; Bush hid in a bunker on some faraway military base.
It infuriated me, as did the subsequent excuses from White House spokesman. There was a risk in coming back, they said. There was a risk in coming back, they said. Of course there was. That's the point: Leaders must take risks, sometimes physical ones. Bush should have elbowed his Secret Service detail out of the way and returned in a display of fearlessness to his nation's capital. I found it distressingly revealing that he didn't.

I for one have noticed that Thaiquila has aparantly fallen back into the same mode that GOP used to pursue on a daily afternoon basis: grap a linguistic bomb, race onto the forum , hurl it at everyone, using only the minimum of effort and thought, and then race on to the next bomb throwing. Then after casting enough explosive material, he will return back to the scene of the crime where the bomb has already exploded, and hose down those who have arrived on the scene of attack.
I think that TQ is turning into a flamer. I wonder why? Is he that starved for attention? Is this devious self aggrandizement? Will he slow down long enough to use what little reasoning remains?
Everyone keep a close eye on TQ. He may be starting to unravel before our very eyes.

Butterfly, do you honestly think it is wise for the leader of any country, the one who would be in charge of negotiating strategy in times of suprise attacks on the country's people, to NOT take care to ensure his safety?
Do you also think that while in a safe place, he sat there coweled up in a corner waiting for it all to go away? Or do you think he was 'working' to limit damage while gaining control of the situation?
No one can blame Bush for 9 11....the blame lies on the terrorists. Why do people insist on skipping this very important fact. Could it be that they don't want to admit there is a danger out there that they cannot control? ...and they think they can control it by voting against the man who was president when it happened?
I can surely understand the fears everyone had on that horrible day in our history....as I sat watching on TV the second plane hit the tower I, like everyone else including our president, had no idea how many targets there were and how much devestation and loss of life there would be before it ended. But the one thing I did know in my heart, was that George Bush and his competent staff and advisors would get a handle on it and take care of the perpetrators better than Al Gore would have. I mention Al Gore because the election of 2000 offered me a newcomer, GWB, whom I had no idea how he would react in times such as 9 11, against Al Gore, whom I saw as a weenie and I had basically voted against Gore as opposed to actually voting for Bush. 9 11 became my first opportunity to see that i had in fact voted wisely.
I believed that then, and I believe that now after being safe from terrorist attacks these past years. I do not want to think what Al Gore would have done, or how John Kerry might act in the same situation because Bush has already shown he will handle the problem aggressively, so what need is there to fix something that isn't broken.
I will stand with Bush on his impressive record of handling the war against terrorism so me, my family and the people like the ones in the article can continue to feel safe, in that Bush and his people are ON TOP OF THE SITUATION...I do not want to change to another at this time no matter who is might be....besides approving of Bush's work, I also realize that trying to fill Kerry in on the details of the past 3 years would not be possible. He didn't even have the interest to attend National Security Meetings, so there is more to fill in for him than there should be....and if he didn't see these meetings as important enough to attend then, how can I trust that he will see National Security as important if he were president? Kerry has left his answer to what he would have done in a 9 11 situation...it is in his Senate Record.....and the answer is 'nothing' whereas, Bush has gone after the ba*tards and no matter what, I know he will fight for our safety and that should be important to everyone in this country, including that person in the article you quoted who 'wanted to be safe'.
