Full Version: Who Is To Blame For A Divided Nation?
Political Topics And Discussion > All Things Political > US Presidential Campaign 2004
Thaiquila
george w bush ran in 2000 as a uniter, not a divider.
Now the US is divided into two separate nations, a cultural, political, and economic CIVIL WAR.
Who is to blame?
No doubt, it has gotten worse under bush.
Should he not be held accountable for this FAILURE to bring America together?

The rest of the world is watching with pleasure as our deep divisions are leading to a radical decline in our standard of living. Americans need to go to Canada to get flu shots and illegally import life saving medications their own health care system does not provide. Meanwhile, the emperor acts like there are no domestic problems.

The time is soon for the NAKED EMPEROR to be revealed for what he really is.

What an idiotic comment.
I am talking about the INTERNAL DIVISIONS in the United States.
Do you think this is healthy?
Our enemies in the world are laughing at us as we DECLINE before their eyes.

Lincoln asked the same thing in his first inaugural address.

Do you care what the neighbors think?
Georgie-Porgie
Other countries are laughing at us because of a predominance of citizens who are "useful idiots" that don't trust our leaders. Naysayers who question every move that we make without giving any plan time to work.
The same idiots who claimed that we were losing the latest Gulf War while we were in the first weeks of it.
The same idiots who claim to be "patriotic", but rip the President and our troops apart every day in a time of war. blink.gif
Stalin called them useful idiots. I call them maladjusted traitors. You call them patriots.
Countries that don't wish us well call them "friend". mad.gif
