I USED to respect this weasel, but he still has some interesting things to say:

Remember, Mr. Bowell was the villian who sold bush's lies to the United Nations.
If he had any self respect, he should have RESIGNED before bush rushed to war in Iraq.

His dirty laundry goes all the way back to trying to cover up the Mai Lai massacre in Vietnam. He's a sh!t like the rest of'em.

Notice that none of the right wingers want to comment on the FAILED RESULT of their stupid leader's criminal actions.

The insurgents are WINNING.
All those dead American soldiers, 100,000 dead Iraqi civilians, 200 billion dollars, America now hated around the world, and LOSING the war to boot.

bush is absolutely the worse president in American history.

Absolutely. He is a good military boy. He belongs to a boot camp with the rest of the boys, showering each other after a long day work playing little soldiers.

This is the new Vietnam War guys. Americans are still dillusional and drinking the Kool Aid over this.

I would suggest butterfly that you refrain from attacking those men who put their lives on the line for your safety. I doubt strenuously you would say such things in front of them, if not for fear of your own mortal frailty for the shame that society would heap upon you.

The internet makes even the smallest of men seem brave in their anonymity.

Can we agree that soldiers who risk their lives for the protection of this country, even when they disagree with the president, are honorable? Say what you will of the leaders of this nation, please show some respect for those willing to die so that you don't have to.
Mike
Blather,

With all respect, but you take it 1 step too far.
How come fighing or even dying in Vietnam would protect your own safety in the US ? Did Vietnam actually attacked the US ?

90 % of all in the army are there for a job, nothing more.

Mike

Vietnam was not for US protection, however this was the sin of leadership not necessarily of the men who fought. The draft aside, these men took an oath to protect the US and its citizens. While the war they fought might be questionable, their sacrfice or willingness to sacrifice themselves should be honored.
Mike
If the fight is questionable, then you should question it, no doubt !
Specially if there is a draft, and especially if its your arse on the line.

Oh, and before you ask, yes, I did my time in the army smile.gif
I was drafted here, and got no honor in doing my time.

Mike

I would not ask that question of anyone. I assume most people would do what is necessary when called upon by their country.

Questioning a war is an important responsibility. Condemning the men who fight in a war because of decisions made by their leaders is wrong (though you may condemn the method of fighting if it qualifies as an atrocity), especially if there is a draft.

Troll Score : A+

Man, you are too much. You are one perfect "conservative" troll laugh.gif

Having a reply for every stand we take. You are starting to remind me of a former member here. Could it be you under a new name ? tongue.gif

I would attack soldiers fighting an illegal and immoral war as I see fit. You have no order to give me sir as you are probably another armchair hero like so many we see on this forum wink.gif
Blather
I trust your bravery isn't due only the anonymity of the internet.
