There is much more grounds to impeach bush than there ever was to impeach Clinton (the famous blow job impeachment attempt).
You heard it here first.
What can the democrats do other than try to remove this disease of a president?
They have lost the house and the senate, and don't even have the numbers for a filibuster.
Impeaching bush is the only hope to stop the US from being a ONE PARTY DESPOTIC radical right wing state.
You will see the wisdom of this quite soon.

Hmmm!.. Maybe, revaluate the last 20 years of a failed political agenda. Also, MAYBE purging the party of those ideologs that have drained the party of any credible leadership or cohesive agenda and as such, drifted it, like the dead drift wood it has become, into the abyss of this political sea of impotence where main stream America can not ascertain or see what "this new democratic party” is or stands for.

When a political party that has continued to loose political power to the point that it and its leadership cannot even raise a consensus for filibuster it is no long viable as a credible opposition. To continue to use this failed base of ideology that has lead it to such low ebbs, is to continue the lunacy that has nearly destroyed a viable opposition and made America nearly a one party nation.

Even children when told not to stick their finger in the electrical outlet do so, it usually only takes one time. What pray tell is the Democrats reason fro repeating the procedure over and over for the last 20 years?

Hmmm…

They say dreams are the windows of the soul--take a peek and you can see the inner workings, of the nuts and visionary fantasies of a utopian image of hope which as before, goes no futher than unfulfilled pragmatism.

He kept quoting that polling service which he said was the "gold standard" which seemed to be showing Bush losing. He even took a poll as to what TQ should do if Bush won. He did not hang around long enough long enough for the conservatives to say "I told you so".

On the Jane, Turky was asked whether he was TQ, and he said he was. Perhaps he was kidding.

You got me G-P, I have been TQ all this time. Let me tell you, I was p1ssed that time I banned myself Razz Anyway, great to see you again mate. Does Gore Lost frequent this site? If so I would like to have a chat with him. I presume his comments about me running a quasi legal asian bride site via TV and BP was in jest, but my reputation is at stake with that comment. I really took offence to it. Plus posting photos of my wife and saying the things he did was below board (I am actually quite forgiving, considering the circumstances). GL lets make up ok?
How about politifile? anyone in touch with him?
Anyway, we are all equal here so lets have it...

It doesn't add up. TQ cited too many things "American" for him to have been a nick Leith was using.
Plus all the gay references and the strident manner in which TQ took the recent legislation banning gay marriage.

I am now back on the board.
I fled to Thailand soon after the election and am in the process of setting up there.
This other fool is not me.

Regarding current events, I was happy to see the Iraq elections going off pretty well. I wish them the best for their country, but giving them free elections was not a justification to invade a sovereign nation, especially as the war was sold because of nonexistant WMDs.

bush is clearly the tool of the corporations. His social security scam (it is so obvious he believes social security is socialism and this is their first step to try to abolish it) and nonexistant policy to improve health care access to Americans shows this.

The American people are getting what they deserve. A big smelly load of BUSH SHEIT.

I wipe my hands of it.

I am still compelled to pay taxes to the beast, so once a Yank, always a Yank.

Yes, impeachment seems unlikely.
The opposition party lacks the votes and lacks the ballocks.

My US taxable income is minimal but I will continue to be an upstanding citizen, pay taxes, and VOTE in every election.

I am a patiotic American and love my country and would never give up my citizenship.

I do detest the fascist takeover of the American government, however. (Reference: watch FOX news.)

The government and the country are not the same thing. Ask the older German people about that one.

As far as going all the way, I could never qualify for Thailand citizenship anyway and in all practicality you have to carry a passport from SOME country, so what are you exactly suggesting?

That is all is a pile of nada.

Would you expect to find me any other place than the EXTREME CITY? Pattaya.

It is my contention than many expats really want to move to Pattaya but decide to move to more "respectable" places for fear of being negatively labelled by their friends and family at home.

Pattaya is where it is at, baby.

TQ. I am happy to hear your intent to vote in every election. That is how things get changed.

I agree the country and the government are rarely exactly the same. They, however have some synergy justapos as to the strength of that government visa v its opposition. Since governments, in democracies, at least, are essentially a product of perceived ideas, they do represent, arguably correctly, a perception of some variant of the ideas held by the majority that elected it.

However, This tactic of ideological segregation and degradation by political view or whom one voted for, is a failed one. It is the same psychology that drives class, race and religious vilification and hatred. As its tempo by the opposition in and outside of America has increased, so has the inverse effect of a reciprocal lost of power and trust by the opposition.

It is a time to understand our commonality and that compromise in the extreme of our differences is the only path if a change is to be affected. One defeats falsity with truth not grander and more falsity as in the oppositions failed strategies of the last 18 years.

One who is truly a relative or truly a friend uses those genuine common bonds to persuade a disagreeable issue between a relative or friend and does not attack nor abandon that relative or friend because they can not dissuaded them. If so what does that say about the quality and character of that relative or friend?

There is no difference in those internal and external to America who segregate those they differ with, as a despised group than there is with those groups that are identified with racism, class elitism, religious intolerance or other positions that pit one group against another. You and I know it only hardens the shell and distance of separation until one day there is this fissure separated by an inaccessible abyss.

The Republicans and what ever they represent as an idea for the country now have it all! As such it gives them absolute responsibility and accountability for ALL successes and FAILURES. They have NO excuses that will be viable or acceptable. It’s time to put up or shut up for the Republican agenda what ever that is.

Thought you detest fox news and its right oriented agenda, you must accept its existence and rapid growth is and was born out of a need, real or perceived, by a substantial number of people.

People who believe or think, the main stream media and the main stream entertainment industries, who are today’s “yellow press” that shape public opinion and perspective with tremendous impact, have not given that obviously large group a voice of consideration as to their feelings and views and as such, has made this group feel as though they where not being represented nor respected for their differing views.

Likewise, even the Liberal side feel disenfranchised by the “news media” as it is no longer a reporter but has evolved into a entertainment variety show with a get their first even with inaccuracies and distortions and or in many cases, as at CBS, with out right bias of all types.

One can be a conservative or a Liberal in some areas and moderate or even a liberal or conservative in another. Viewing Americans as being exclusively one or the other is most disingenuous and fallacious. Surely you as an American know the vast majority of us are neither flaming liberals nor burning conservatives but vary in topic, in time and circumstances.

To call the government fascist is easy to say but we both know in reality, Americans, be they Blue state or Red state, will not tolerate any real abridgement of our freedoms any where remotely near fascism.

Sure there are things being done that some see as abridging some rights, as in WWI, WWII, but just as quickly there others challenging them in a proper legalistic way and in some cases winning especially when freedoms and rights have abridged. Where in the world would Gitmo prisoners win the rights they have? Have you really looked at some of the “detainment / expulsion” laws in Europe? Take a look they will surprise you.

Most, unlike you apparently, have not lost hope and confidence that our system of government will assure our freedoms.

Because they know that should that day come, those your lot misjudge and call ignorant trailer trash or worst, those who voted for Bush this time around, will be in the streets and barricades fighting any efforts to deter any assurances of those freedoms with even more zeal and determination than you lot.

To say otherwise is like living in a ghetto of only one’s kind, who are themselves, an isolated un-representative few, far removed from knowing the vast difference other Americans have outside thse enclaves of oneness and kindredness.

This ghetto emphasis on difference companied by disdain and hatred is exactly what has been lost in the intolerance of ideological disagreement internally and externally to America. If it continues the abyss of doom you lot contrive will well beyond an imaginable reality.

How is hating and despising one for thinking or voting differently differentiated from hating and despising one for the color of his skin, his economic status in life or is religion or ethnicity? is discriminates, it segregates , it isolates and it eventually leads to concentration and resistences.

P.S.

If a passport is the real issue, Belize will make you a citizen and give you a passport for $25,000 USD. Slam Bam and its done.

I have better things to do with 25,000 dollars than give it to Belize for a passport, and an American passport is very easy to travel with except for Cuba, so thanks for the lame suggestion, but no thanks.

Mr. Bluecat, A statement of hope for a better tomorrow, I suppose, is that correct?

If so, then what next, the messiah, the second coming maybe?

How do you suppose with his passing the things that are disagreeable to you, that I assume they are, about him, his leadership and the philosophies, will change?

And if I may, a follow up second question.

What is the way Bush wants to be remebered and How will it differ as you fear?
