I'm serious about Trent Lott running for President. Notice his new book "Herding Cats", which is a hoot and a good read. That is part of the warm-up thingie for president. Lots of face time with the talking heads. IIRC He is up for re-electionin '06 and is seen as having the safest seat in congress. I think testing the waters is the proper term.
Karl Rove was sort of a joke, but think about it. He won't bring a state withhim, but he does make Lott assassination proof. Sort of a Dan Quail with a triple digit IQ.
