hello ,every one!
I come from China, accidentally entered into this forum when I strolled on the internet. I would like to answer any questions about China if you were interested in this country. I am not good at English, but I am sure that everyone here is intelligent enough to understand my expression which contains many mistakes.
by the way what do you think the relationship between the US and China will be? rolleyes.gif smile.gif
Mike
Hi Wang,

Wang, welcome. How does the mainstream Chinese populace feel about the forcefull reunification with Taiwan?
ustrader
Mr Wang.. Will China be a democracy in say 10 years of less?

That is all!
wang
thank you Phil,
I will try my best to answer your question.
In mainland most people have a great desire to reunify with Taiwan, think surely it will come true. you can look through some chinese forum to attest my world, but actually as a continuous convention most chinese people pay more attention to their own life than Politics, quite differ from western people.maybe this will be changed in future.
recently some people on the island (especially the youths) show their dislike of not only the government but also the people in mailand. some young people always think they have the most advanced political system in the world.they dont trust CCP,and are afraid of loss job, liberty etc if unify with mainland.
these informations all based on my personal experience and subjective idea, but I hope you would get some useful thing from it,
can you understand my words? unsure.gif

Hello Wang, nice to meet you happy.gif , i come from England in Somerset in the countryside and i am learning Chinese history/culture and politics at the moment so i might be asking you some questions about China in the near future as i progress in my studying; Welcome to the forum smile.gif
wang
hello ,ustrader
are you a businessman?have you ever been to China?
thanks for your opinion above, I think whoever on the earth is not quite different from each other.sometimes they almost have the same idea, desire, aesthetic feeling etc. I am 23 years old now ,I know I need to learn more about where China will go,but I am sure it will be better.
as everyone know, there is a huge population in China ,so the people there are various. I don't think Chinese people are good at business though they are extraordinary clever and wise. rolleyes.gif As a agricultural society China has opposed commerce for thousands years. It may cost some time to learn the rule of the game.
by the way your tag" that is all" is not that cool. I always feel some arbitrary or rigescent from it. maybe "to be continued" is better. rolleyes.gif pardon me for my imprudent words.

Tokis-phoenix
nice to meet you !
I'd like to make something helpful to you with pleasure.
Tokis-phoenix
Don't worry about Ustrader; his posts are always a mile long even though "that is all" biggrin.gif !
Most people here "troll" to a certain extent and can be a quite offensive at times but i wouldn't take it too seriously wink.gif

the writing of Japanese and Chinese is not exactly the same ,Japanese use both Chinese characters and kana to write, though Chinese characters is more.
you will find the pronounce of Japanese is quite simple, but chinese is a little difficult ,it has 4 intonation ,however i have seen many foreigner do it very well.
Tokis-phoenix
Cheers for the advice; don't worry if the forum moves quite slowly in conversation at times as there doesn't appear to be that many members ever online at a time; ps: if you ever want to know how many people or who are online it tells you at the bottom on the main page.
I am realy into ancient China's history at the moment and i find it realy fascinating; China appears to have been very advanced and years ahead of other countrys at many points in its history. What i can't seem to find much information on though is the relationship between Japan and China in the early years(up to 3000 years ago)...Am i right in thinking Japan was created when it split from China or were they aways separate countrys right from the start- which existed first??

to Tokis-phoenix,
The history of Japan is not very long ,but I think it is still a separated culture.you may have heard some storys such as the travel of Xufu and 500 children from China , but there are not any obvious evidence left. In addition though Japanese has learn a lot from China ,the modernization and industrialisation it got from the west is more,at the same time the people in China were still proud of their culture.
wang
to ustrader,
maybe because of my poor English I found it quite difficult to understand your word, but I envy of your experience ,you have been so many place even some area in china I have not been. I was brough in a not very rich family as many person else in China , and dont have many chance to go various places,so I must spend more time on my job instead of staying on forum. dry.gif

First of all I probally would be last person here to be concerned about your diction.

Second, I have a number of nationalities and religions in my extended family, so, they and I have become accustomthat if we don't understand, we merely request a clarification.

Here I do the same if the conversation is with a civil person and some times if not with a civil person.

What can I say. [UThat is all![/U] means what it mean, as I explained and I am afraid you will see it often in conversation with me.

That is all!
