Shays: DeLay Should Step Down
WASHINGTON — The Democratic leadership has railed against House Majority Leader Tom DeLay's (search) alleged ethics violations. But now that Republican Ethics Committee Chairman Doc Hastings is offering to open an investigation, Democrats won't take yes for an answer.

Why should they? After all, to the left it is the appearance that counts, not the action. If they rail about ethics and how the opposite side is hindering the formation of an ethics committee, that is the goal.
Once the Republicans take their raised accusations seriously and start the ball rolling , they(the Democrats) quietly refrain. Why? Because quite suddenly all the filth they are screaming about is suddenly bubbling to the surface of their own front yard, to their chigrin. And the minority leader, Pillosi, is one of the principle targets. And rightly so.
But do not count of the Republicans to have the necessary backbone to accomplish anything. They are Gutless and couldn't command under fire, if their very existance depended upon it. And too, they even have trouble locating their own arse with both hands!
What a bunch of pusseys! When will they ever learn that they are the majority party?

THANK YOU! I knew I couldn't have been the only one who thought that we GOPers go WAAAAAAY too soft on those commenazis.
Everybody is in a rush to have THEIR ehics buttriced now, in light of the backlash, and of course it also includes some of the wimpy Republicans I mentioned above.
