'We know that they had the industrial infrastructure to weaponize this plutonium. We know -- we have read also that they have the delivery system.'

Plainly Tell North Korea that Nuclear Test Will Result in Calamity

If Pyongyang detonates a nuclear device, it would have disastrous political consequences for Asia and the whole world, not to mention environmental implications in terms of radiological fallout."

The White House warned, "North Korea's nuclear test will be regarded as a provocative act," while a senior U.S. administration official said, "If North Korea tests a nuclear device, South Korea would sustain a serious blow, including an over 50 percent plunge in share prices."

U.S. Considers Blockade Resolution as N. Korea Prepares for Possible Nuclear Test
Today's New York Times reports two major new developments in the North Korea story. The Administration's long-lived patience with North Korea may finally be at an end as it contemplates asking the U.N. for a resolution that would authorize any nation to stop North Korean ship and planes to search for nuclear material. Meanwhile, North Korea may be preparing to test a nuclear weapon. First, the general terms of the conceptual resolution:

If anyone is gonna kick this guy' #####, it's gonna be the Chinese.

He's posing a real threat to their tenuous relationships with the United States, and Beijing doesn't like that.

Anyone a poker player here? Take a look into the eyes of this North Korean and the Iranian leaders from a poker players perspective.

Are they a real players and do they have a big enough pot to play.

If they play, what do they win, if they he bluff what does they win? If they fold what do they win?

Likewise, do they and their neighbors understand what the consequences are if they play...

Can they and or any of our enemies be sure our currently deployed –Patriot PAC3 is ineffective?

Likewise, is it true, as in factual, that our ITF-13B Ground based missile interceptor, is not deployable and functional or is it not true? Some whisper it is deployed in Alaska now. How deployable and effective is the joint Israeli American version of the Patriot?

Likewise, just how perfected are these North Korean and Iranian Missiles? Can these guys count on their reliability, when even the Russians admit their lack of funds may significant curtail their retaliatory capabilities.

Likewise, do we have cards up our sleeves that no one knows about?

Like tin the Bosnian war, with the foil bomb which even our allies did not know about, that shut down electric grids, as well as how well our stealth technology actually worked in combat many militaries, including allies, were so surprised by that.

China, Japan and South Korea can kiss their economies goodbye if he plays as well as the significant impact on the US and European economies who will recover but within a world depression.

Of course there will be No North Korea or Iran to worry about if they play and the question is, do these guys know that?

Same can be said of Iran, if it threatens to nuke the Middle Eastern oil fields as a leverage tool, what is the play, what do they win if they play, if they bluff or fold?

The question the world has to start asking can we afford to have our economic future and existence toyed with by fanatics and those who might play nuke poker because they do not have enough sense not to.

If either country uses nukes maybe no one wins. But they can not count on that with absolute certainty!

What they can count on with absolute certainty is that our retaliatory response will be an end to their existences.

Admittedly it is a most dangerous game of poker. But, in these two cases, it is essentially the same strategically, it's play, bluff or fold in this game of nuke poker.
