May this steady stream of vitriolic opinion editorials never cease. popcorn.gif

The more these buffoons try to portray GWB as a "boob" the more idiotic an nonsensical they become. They are all but guaranteeing a GOP victory in 2008. laugh.gif

I think they are still trying to figure how to spell "stoopid" 002.gif 008.gif

Have to agree with you. Definately a lack of critical analysis and an overabundance of opinion in that article. However, I don't agree that it's ineffective. All sides love to share their propaganda.

Perhaps it's about as effective as the efforts to elect John Kerry! Can you say "three ring circus"? 001.gif
What's is going on with the DNC is pretty pathetic IMHO! How about some positive input for a change. Denounce the nut jobs like Al Gore and Howard Dean instead of embracing them. Tell George Soros to take a hike. Tell Susan Sarandon and Whoopi Goldberg to shut up when it comes to politics. Effective for the ditzy moonbats perhaps but for rational thinking individuals forget about it.
We want constructive pragmatic input. Not lame fiction from pseudo documentarians like Michael moore! 012.gif
mirz
Yes, but the 'ditzy moonbats' don't have the attention span to absorb constructive pragmatic input... that's where this sort of BS comes in handy.

I love these guys. So far it seems to be plain that they do nothing but help Dubya.

Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.
H. L. Mencken
US editor (1880 - 1956)

Perhaps this is becoming less true as Americans become better educated.

Actually Bush is the smart one here. While they rant and sputter, he smiles and says nice thing about his opponents. It clearly sets him apart and allows the average person to choose which they think is more credible. And most go for Bush. I wonder why?

Perhaps Grizzly can give us a critique here.

Hmmm! Another Nervous angered rave of tension Quake from San Francisco’s Castor Street, the Cold Harbor of death and Gloom so consumed and inspired by a lack of Ritalin and Emetic I see!

Thanks TQ for the odious link of Timothy Leary-ism deviated Haight & Ashbury Wisdom:

Now comes Morford’s isolating pontification of the Gloom!!!

QUOTE

times of great stress and strife and economic downturn?

BushCo blindly, staggeringly resolute?

How can he be so appallingly ignorant of fact, of truth, of evidence, of deep thought? In short, what the hell is wrong with George W. Bush?

his lopsided myopic one-way black/white good/evil worldview.

Go ahead, read the “Rose Garden”  Q&A, It's sort of staggering. It's also very impressive, in a soul-stabbing, nauseating way.

Bush is, to be sure and in a word, unyielding.

Determined. Immovable. Also, deeply confused. Myopic as hell. Frighteningly narrow minded. Weirdly random.
Unlike you or me,

God forbid but so few of the me he references actually exist in the world.

Now hold on here comes the DOOM!

QUOTE
He is, in other words, our downfall.

still on track, a good man, despite WHAT EVERYBODY -- and I do mean EVERYBODY -- says.

Hmmm! What everybody is Sire Morfort-ness speaking about.

EVERYBODY IS EVER HUMAN, NO EXCEPTION, RIGHT?

THERE MORE THAN A FEW HUMANS NOT SO INCLINED HUH!

QUOTE
Bush is able to speak only at one level, to one level. The level of a child. The level of a simpleton. The level of a sweet, bumbling, small-town mayor, addressing a PTA meeting, everyone in soft plaids and everyone drinking light beer and everyone wondering about just what the heck to do about the rusty swing sets and the busted stoplight.

Not to much a rant of self important is it, that is if condescendence and arrogance where a virtue.

QUOTE
The U.S. still behaves, when all is said and done, like one of those scared wild monkeys, clinging desperately to a shiny object despite the trap closing in all around us, unable to let go of this old, silly, faux-cowboy mentality of boom boom kill kill God is your daddy now sit down and shut up.

Nice touch "BOOM BOOM KILL KILL", a bit filch in perversion and idiomatic moribund like but on par for DRAMA QUEEN literacy. Yet somewhat substandard to the “let's have lunch" Hollywood bunch or most slum like for the Eastern elitism of the Hampton ‘s East liberous crowd, I would say.

QUOTE
But for a major world power caught in the throes of a desperate need to change and grow and evolve, he is, of course, imminent death, leading us deeper into a regressive ideological tar pit from which we may never emerge.

A Most Impressive angered rant and rave of obvious hopelessness, defeatism from a fearful ideologue indeed.

That is if one likes an angered Ritalin deficient inspired view of how correct a failed ideology is in persuading a country or a people of how doomed we are in this righteous purple Haze view of gloom so reminiscent of another Bay area Raptorial breed Timothy Leary.

I hope the BIG one does not come soon or our Bay City Bombastic saviors of the world as they know themselves to be, will be wiped out all at once, when this purple haze fog lifts from the area and its Raptorial Messiah, Timothy Leary, rises from the dead, once again, to roam Castro Street and Haight and Asbury as the Ghosts do now in ye old Morford’s doom slayer mind.

That is all!
