And she is just warming up?
Is she running?
Is the Pope a reactionary?

Thaiquila

Condi Rice can and will rip Hillary a new orifice on every level! tongue.gif

QUOTE ( Reuters article)
"The Republicans will spend a lot of money against her next year," said Ann Lewis, communications director for Clinton's campaign. "They've been very open about their intention to do as much damage to her as they can."

That, right there, proves that the Republicans are worried about her future aspirations -- I think! ph34r.gif

I hope that she does run, and makes it; she is going to have allot of work on her hands -- thats for sure! wink.gif

We may want to wait, until at least one person has said they plan to run, before we place bets.

The only sure bet here is that Hillary, though unannounced, is running and will get the dem nomination. You can put that in the bank. wink.gif

Yes, probably.
The odd thing is that Kerry seems to want to run too.
How would he position himself against Clinton?

"I deserve it because I ALMOST won last time."
Pathetic.
It does underline that wanting to be president is a kind of mental illness, the current bush and Hillary included.
wardo
Yeah, Hillary has such high polling numbers. I'm sure she's a shoe in. Liberals keep dreaming. It'll be just like the push to make Dean the DNC Chair. We see how well that's working out for you all.
Thaiquila
Whether Hillary wins the pres job has a lot to do with what you reps come up with.
McCain would be somewhat hard to beat.
Gingrich easier.
Frist a cake walk.
Not sure about Guliani, but he is probably too liberal to be nominated anyway.
Ben-T
Kerry does seem to want to run in 08.

He doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting the Nomination. That's going to Hillary.

McCain or Guliani will most likely get the nomination. Either one would steamroll Hillary.

Have you placed your bets?
Put your money where your mouth is.
MacCain has shortenned from 20/1 to 14/1.
You've already lost $60 on a $10 bet.

Ohhh but..

.. but if you're so sure, this is the time to get the best odds. Wait until after the nominations and it's down to 3/1, 2/1, Evens or worse.

I don't believe in betting.

After all it is a possibility, remote as it is, that I am wrong. In that case, I would lose money.

No thank you, I like my US federal bank notes and intend to hang on them.

Hilary will never live down her reputation as a liberal, nor will Kerry. If the Democrats in their national convention are stupid enough to nominate yet another Northeast Liberal candidate, they're doomed to fail. If Democrats will be sensible enough to nominate somebody who is viewed as centrist (Carter and Clinton won that way; Gore almost won), they have a chance. Otherwise, nominating someone who can be smeared as if they are the reincarnation of Karl Marx, will be suicide.
Ben-T
Personally I forsee another culture war erupting in the Democratic Party before long, the same kind that led to the nomination of George McGovern and the decline of the Democratic Party. Hopefully for our friends in blue, there will be a better result this time!
Fit2BThaied
It's bad enough that the USA has almost always had just two national, major political parties. But if either one of those two becomes too weak, democracy suffers. I wasted my Republican vote in my 20's and 30's by living in a Southern Democratic state. Then, just as I switched parties, so did the State!

I imagine that four or more parties holding 10% or more of the vote would be far healthier, even though it would be messy.
Ben-T
There are many other political parties in the US, including the Libertarian party, the Constitutional party, the Conservative party, the Green party, the Communist party, the Socialist party, and many, many more.

The Democratic party and Republican party are just the only ones who get significant portions of the vote.

Not so fast there, buster.
Hillary is more complex than that.
She is a Senator from New York but really of Arkansas.
She is now firmly positioned as very hawkish on defense.
She has none of the strange Vietnam baggage of Kerry.
She comes with Bill, who, like it or not, is still hugely popular.
In other words, meet PRESIDENT HILLARY CLINTON.
Ben-T
....right. Keep on thinkin that.

Hillary hawkish on defense, hahaah what a joke.

If you think it is a joke, then you simply haven't been paying attention.
Ben-T
I think most Americans can see through her political expediancy.

There is also the simple fact that she is widely hated.
Thaiquila
She is widely hated by right wing yahoos like you who would never vote for any democrat to save their own #####, so WHO CARES!!!!!
Ben-T
Right.

If buy "right wing yahoos who never vote for any democrat to save their own asses" you mean the vast majority of the Americna populace.

I, by the way, am a moderate (not WILD about the guy.) fan of Bill Clinton. The only party I support is that of American interests.
