I support Israel, generally because they give us a somewhat sensible "liason" in the middle east. Sure a gold chain wearing jewish nationalist will have much more common sense than a goat herding arab mongloid, but at what point do jews think the world will tolerate their nationalistic extremism? Not just the jews who protested Laura Bush (?), but the settlement wacko jack booted thugs who are refusing to leave land that isn't theirs. I guess the whole thing left a really bad taste in my mouth when I learned that the jews were in fact leaving as per the agreement, but only under force and a world wide looking glass, and they were destroying everything they left behind? How psychotic.

My opinion: But the US could strike a major severence to Islamic Extremism by simply cutting off Israel, but continuing and even stepping up the war against terrorism in the middle east. Perhaps military strikes against Syria and Iran. If done correctly this could definitely change the mind of the arab on the street and take the wind out of the jihadists recruitment campaign. This would solidify our relationship with a democratic iraq. Imagine the budget that we pour into israel being focused on iraqi moderates and anti-wahabism? With Israel engaged in a war for its own existence, imagine the benefits to us?
