If the Republicans don't get their act together and start doing what they promised, they will definately be in trouble. And I will not feel sorry for them. In that case, four years of the Clintons would probably leave them more chaste and ready to travel along the straight and narrow.

But knowing her personality, I can tell you that she will be so contentious that she would be lucky to make it through one term. And a Republican Congress fighting a Hillary Clinton would tend to keep the budget in line as it was with Bubba.

The Republicans had better get it together NOW, or she may slide in, in spite of here dishonesty and stealth.

But I wouldn't get my hopes up too high TQ. You are a natural patsy for a fall, and this one would be the ultimate fall here. You might even have a stroke over it. wink.gif

Don't worry.
I don't expect very much from the stupid, stupid American voters.
So if they do the right thing, I will be pleasantly surprised.
If not, I now expect them to mess up anyway.

You are SUCH an optimist, TQ!! Or should I say, you are behaving like an elitist snob.

(insert whiny voice here) "Oh, if they don't agree with ME, than they are ALL stupid!! Just stupid, stupid, stupid!"

Posh!

Clinton is a socialist, and would be death to our great Republic. Clinton thinks the government is the only legit decision maker for our personal lives.

(insert another whiny voice here) "Oh, I just don't know what toothpaste to use. I"ll ask Hillary, she always knows what is best! I just hope it is covered by my HMO!"

Condoleeza Rice would be a much better choice for president. She actually loves America, and she has REAL skills and has made REAL accomplishments in her career, unlike the deceptive Hillary "Cheshire Cat" Clinton.

Democrats and socialists are NOT the same thing.
There is an excellent chance we will be seeing President Clinton again, so you had best prepare yourselves for the eventuality.

Personally, I am very, very excited at the idea of a Hillary run. She makes me (edit) and I am not in the slightest bit straight.
Vander
To a large degree, Dems and socialists ARE the same thing. They both want nationalized health care, the both want to keep the poor from getting into the good private schools, they both believe in taking assets from one group and giving it to another (cite the recent S.C. ruling here about property rights), they both believe in abortion, they both believe in a weak U.S. military, they both believe in U.N. supremecy.

I could go on and on and on...but my wife is waiting for me.

TQ, the Democratic party was once a good, American party. But in recent decades they have been hi-jacked by a conglomerate of special-interest leftists and socialists. The Democratic party is just about as democratic as the U.S.S.R. was a republic!

Ick. Hillary.

We really need a "barf" emoticon.

Go Michael Badnarik!
Go Michael Paroutka!

Hmmm, odd.

ToT and I both think Michael Badnarik would make a fine Presidential candidate. Certainly the Libertarian party has long been America's smartest and best political party. Surprised to agree with him. Does happen once in a while though.
