Nader's been the smartest guy the US has had run for President in the last 50 years. Too bad 95% of Americans didn't realize it. I can see why conservatives didn't vote for him but what is wrong with american liberals?
If you are a dedicated Collectivist, then he appears to be very smart. However, if you are logical and believe in individual liberty, his ideas are kooky at best, highly dangerous at most.

You need to expand a lot more than this. Give examples of his "kooky" ideas.

Advocating policies that have been continuously failing for nearly a century now isn't what I'd call smart.
