This is a classic example of what I have been saying. TQ, you entitle this thread as though these five teachers favour Harrassing homosexual students. That is patently false. They simply refused to place the "so called" rainbow flag in their classroom, that is all.

Did it ever occur to you that perhaps the teachers were minding their own business, when this was forced upon them, and THEY beleved that they were the harassed ones?

TQ, all this blatant "In Your Face" militant homosexual craziness is making the overwhelming majority of us turn against you as a person. And personally, I don't give a "hang" what your sexual orientation happens to be. I just want you to stop trying to shove this agenda down my "you know what".

And I third that. In another thread I POLITELY asked him to refrain from his homosexual comments directed at me and the next comment was a homosexual comment directed at me.
MODS: this is an awesome forum. There are many good, intelligent posts and debates here. Yes, it's my problem if I feel like telling you to remove my account here over one person, but I'm getting close to asking that. But, really, this TQ guy should not be allowed to post. It's just strange how swear words are edited out, but some of TQ's posts that are quite disgusting get by.
I also know TQ's gonna comment back at me because he just can't control himself, and probably with some "gay Jesus boy" comment as he's done before, but the intention of my post now was not to flame him or anyone, it is just feedback to the moderators.

Now about the origianl post. It is a required policy to hang those flags??? And yet, if the Bible is taught in any way whatsoever there's a total freaking out??

SkiGuy, first let me explain how cencoring works. The administrator simply enters words that he/she deems to be offensive, and they are automatically "x"ed out. Phil simply cannot censor out All of the words.

Now, much of what TQ posts is not censorable, however some of it can be offensive. If you find it to be offensive, there are three things you can do. One, you mentioned it: leaving. However, that is not the best answer. Two, you can simply learn how to fight back and make your posts intelligent, logical, and hard hitting. Remember, TQ is not going to be easy to defeat, as he keeps coming back. Three, if you don't like what he says, then simply place him on "ignore", as I have done with three members here. It is not perfect, yet it works, provided you can resist the urge to "peak" in on his posts.

Life is not always fair, and neither is this forum. Therefore, you have to be willing to make yourself heard in the best manner, or simply learn to ignore TQ. It's not that hard to do.

John, it's incredibly easy to ignore him and I don't need to put him on ignore. I understand the difficulties of censoring and I don't expect the administrators to censor posts. It's just that TQ is so out of place here. My argument is based more on principle and advice then censorship. Where there is an intelligent thread there is also TQ's posts of "you are a big poopy head". I joined this forum because of the common sense and intelligence here. Then I came across some of TQ's posts... Just wondering how many of these "guests" here are turned off by those posts.

Not once in all my posts here have I ever said:

These teachers work for a PUBLIC SCHOOL, not one of your Xian hate group anti gay rights schools.
They either comply with the rules, or GET FIRED!

The news article in the original post says that the school board - the government which employs and directs these teachers as government employees - directed the posters to be installed in every classroom. The teachers who objected on Christian principles had several options, among them...

1. Resign because their employer is forcing them to sin.
2. Complain through the chain of command, without disobeying their orders.
3. Realize that their job requires them to obey orders, and obey them.

I admire the convictions of the teachers, as government employees, to commit civil disobedience. Now they must pay whatever legal price their employer exacts upon them. When I taught civil disobedience, I said, "Be prepared to pay the price."
