Mexicans are getting pretty bold, mostly due to the fact that they are not hearing anything except amnesty from the president. In certains cases, Mexican President Fox has been visiting illegals in American cities and telling them not to leave-as he did here in Washington state recently. This article highlights their brazen attitude and lack of respect for our nations laws. Makes you really wonder why Bush really doesn't want to block off the border...

NOGALES, Mexico — Mexicans say it will take more than three layers of fence and 6,000 National Guard troops to keep them out of the United States.

Please leave this hackneyed argument for the poorly-informed. You could try it on the families of the dead coal miners. They might get a touch insulted. Ever watch the show Dirty Jobs? It might alleviate some of your ignorance.

Also, you missed dixon's point about low wages. Without illegals, employers would have to raise the wages they paid to attract labor. This would be a great thing for the 76% of agriculture workers who are Americans.

This country does not need a permanent near-slave class to keep afloat. That you would support one is unimaginable, except that you are. Regardless of what you think, capitalism doesn't need to exploit people to work. In fact, the only way to get ahead is to serve your neighbor.
