The federal deficits are the highest in US history, and now bush wants to abolish a tax that doesn't hurt anyone, and only siphons off some cash from only a tiny percentage of the population THE SUPER RICH, and it doesn't hurt them a bit. The rich MUST pay more! And continue to do so. As this article states we have the most unbalanced class sytem ALREADY in the richer world:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...6060400782.htmlStop this madness!

So, you have been paying attention to another Class Warfare Idiot again TQ? And he, like others of his stripe are ranting on about how it is just Shameless, Shamless I tell you, that people who have worked smart and cashed in on "life's little lottery", should be punished for not spending it all their dishonestly earned cache, while driving alive, right? After all, it is the government's money, not theirs, right?
However, where is all this ranting and raving from idiots, Collectivists, do-goders, and hypocrites, such as yourself, when it comes to wonderful Collectivists, like your hero, Uncle Tedddy, while he wallows around in his take from his daddy's "honest" business of running moonshine during Prohibition? Where is your idiotic rant about this classic example of "do as I say, not as I do" mentality?
Tell me TQ, are you really as stupid as you daily proclaim? Or are you just a devious little liar and jerk off, who can't keep his mouth shut? Which is it TQ.
You are beginning to get on my nerves TQ. As the saying goes, "It's better to be thought stupid than to speak up and remove all doubt." So when are you going to STFU! for once in your life TQ?

Uncle Teddy's estate will also be subject to the very worthwhile death tax. The death tax doesn't even come close to taking away all of the inherited wealth of the SUPER RICH. I will ignore your personal attacks.

They are NOT personal attacks! It is the result of your successful attempts to make a complete Arse Of yourself. It is a constant cycle with you, and you NEVER learn.
You get readmitted back here, start out small, and slowly build yourself up to a complete pain in the ARSE. You haven't the intelligence to realize that your increasing exhibitionism is a drain on normal people, who would be tollerent of you if you did not take everything to the limit.
Quite frankly, I get increasingly tired of it, and would just like for you to once in your life learn the value of restraint. You appear unable to know when ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! So, I'll tell you right now, that you are working yourself, once again, into a one way ticket out of here. Trust me on this. You burn all your bridges, and for the life of me I can't understand why you are so he11 bent on ruining yourself. It's amazing, what you do to yourself.

Taxes don't cure defecits, because the government always spends its revenues, not saves them to pay off debts. The only way to fight defecits is to cut taxes to the point where the government doesn't have the money to spend anymore. Then they will start thinking about balanced budgets.

Thank you Bent for spelling out the BANKRUPT neocon so called economic philosophy that has created these huge deficits in the first place. Your sides days are NUMBERED!

John, all I have been doing is express my politcal views strongly. I have not resorted to personal attacks like you have, and if someone baits me too much, I put them on IGNORE. Do you want me to put you on ignore? I don't want to, but if you do want this, just say the word.
I really think your current problem with me is that you are biased from your MILITARY BACKGROUND and it drives you nuts when I mention that US marines have murdered children and babies at close range in COLD BLOOD. You know what this means as well as I do. The bush neocon failed absurd Middle East strategy has officially failed, and Iraq is now officially the new Vietnam ... it is over and everyone knows it. We made it WORSE!

Neoconservatism does not have an economic philosophy to it.
My economic philosophy is capitalism. Perhaps you are familiar with it. Government has never been shown to, with increased tax revenues, use those revenues to fight defecits. The only effective way to fight defecits is to cut taxes to the point where congress' revenues severely drop.
Regardless, I will be a single issue voter in 2008, and that issue will be the defecit. Currently, that has me voting for McCain.

Having seen just a few estate tax returns in my life (including one of the most famous), I know that really rich people actually do pay estate taxes (and to the states, various inheritance taxes). However, I agree with Nomad here that the total amount of estate taxes collected by the IRS are nothing, compared to other taxes, or even to the budget deficits.
Former chairman of the House Ways and Means committee, Bill Archer of Houston (maybe he only chaired the IRS oversight committee after Jake Pickle did) wanted to not only do away with the estate tax, but with the entire IRCode. Meanwhile, Bill Gates, Sr., the father of Microsoft's founder, has been quoted as saying that the estate tax is only fair.
The Gates family has at least tried to give away half of the Microsoft stock it owned. A few wealthy families, including Ted Turner and Jane Fonda, have been extraordinarily generous with their money, much of which was gained honestly. And even if your great grand-dad was a robber baron, does that mean your own grandchildren have to beg on the street corner? I don't think so.
TQ, it's not a big issue unless you just hate the ultra-rich.
Disclaimer: me and my family are nowhere near the estate tax rates. Look at the rates and see that spouses get 50% deduction, the other deductions, etc. By some rumored accounts, by the time the IRS figured out all his deductions, a famous tycoon and aviator wasn't even a billionaire. Strictly a rumor, of course.

No, Fit, the USA is at war (thanks to bush who is an aggressive madman) and has huge budget deficits.
The government needs the money, and if the tax is stopped, it will have to come from poorer people. Progressive taxation is as American as apple pie. Soak the rich? You betcha!

War is no excuse for anything. Peacetime budgets have had massive deficits, due to obscenely immoral defense spending. Repealing the estate taxes will have no measurable effect on the decifit. We have to attack the spending side. Stop spending!!
Even millionaires are often exempt from paying more than a token amount of death taxes.

Fit', TQ is not renounded for being a thinker. He is a Feeler, and clearly the Death Tax is a Feeler Issue for him. Add a dash of "Do-Gooderism", along with an ample shake of "GetEvenWithEmIsm", and you have a sure fire recipe for Class Warfare 101.
