The left-wing reaction to American soldiers being tortured and murdered? Boiled down to its essence, it's "We deserved it and it's all Bush's fault."

Boon Mee, I don't get it. What is that blog? Who's saying what? What makes you think that is the left-wing reaction? Browsing through those comments (which seemed to be many people's reactions) I found true sympathy for the American soldiers who were found dead. What I also noticed is a comparison to the disregard of the Geneva Conventions by BOTH THE USA and the insurgency. It's a tragic point: the USA threw the conventions in the trash, so the insurgency feels free to do the same.

How much of this butchery went on, at such intensity and frequency, before Bush reacted to 9/11/2001?

As someone who is mistaken for a left winger, I deplore all violence everywhere, especially when it's done by my country in the name of my country.
