Rape suspect Gore Lost
VERO BEACH, Fla. – A suspected illegal alien is in custody today for allegedly trying to rape a 2-year-old dogl he saw in a swimming pool.
Authorities say the suspect, 24-year-old Gore Lost, a native of Honduras, was working as a painter at Vero Beach's Waterford Lakes when he targeted a dog, who was swimming alone.
Police reports indicate Gore Lost forced the dog against a wall, then removed her muzzle and tounge kissed it.
The victim fought back and was able to get away from her assailant. A neighbor contacted authorities from a hospital where the dog fled to, barking with obvious abdominal pains.
The dog then helped with police to catch her attacker.

"In a taped phone call, he apologizes to the dog, says he's sorry and sets up a meeting to make it up to her here, just a few blocks from her home," said WPEC-TV reporter Jana Eschbach.
The Indian River County Sheriff's Office arrested Gore Lost at a nearby convenience store, as the suspect thought he was going to meet the dogl.
He's charged with sexual battery and is being held on a $150,000 bail, with his arraignment slated for July 28.
"No matter how you feel about the immigration debate, one thing is certain," noted Eschbach. "You cannot check out the background of a worker who has no documentation."
