Full Version: Oil, Israel and Military
Political Topics And Discussion > All Things Political > US Political Topics
David2004
The three primary problematic parts of the United States Foreign Policies in the Middle East are oil, Israel and military. The bad oil deals between the Middle East Kingdoms and the western industrialized oil consuming nation and the creation of the Jewish State of Israel happen first. Then came the huge western military contracts and deals with the State of Israel and the Arab nations, with each side competing for more than the other.

It is the combined lobbying forces of the oil industry, pro-Israel and the military industrial complex that are at the root to many of the problems we face in the Middle East today. The sooner the American people and system wake-up to this fact, the sooner we will be able to come up with working answers to many of the problems. All three parts of the problems have to be addressed to solve any one of them. There is not a one part solution.

The answers will be found by bringing a better balance into the equation. Whether it is the use of financial resources between the oil rich Arab nations and the poorer Arab nations or the Palestinian-Israeli Crisis a better balance has to be reached. Less money spent of military programs and more money allocated for improving the lives of the average Arab person on the streets. The Arab people of Palestine live in some of the worst conditions on earth.

Once things are brought better into balance in the Middle East the living conditions of many of the Arab people will improve. This is the first step to long term peace and security for the people of the region and world. By bringing a better balance to the region you will disenfranchise the extremists. Unlike today where we are only feeding the fire making a bad situation worst.

Indeed lofty ambitions, noble ideals and hopeful wisdoms. Yet, not a mention of the how this will occur or the difficulty in reality of any of it occurring or in many degrees even if factual as to the root cause of the middle east issues, leaving completely out the people's will to make changes, which they seem unwilling or impotently afraid to do.

I would note the flavor of this piece is like in my mantra, it is not in what one says or does that reveals the most about them, for that is obvious, it is, in the what and why, of what he has not said and not done that reveals the most.

Name:David
My pen name is David Global-Crier. I am self educated from high school onward. 9/11 woke me up changing my life forever. I am a gardener in the heart and a philosopher in the mind. Politically, I have a wide range of interests in foreign and domestic affairs. I consider myself a “conservative radical” meaning we need major revolutionary changes in America and the world towards balance and peace. I believe the greed of a few has overtaken common sense within our system. My greatest fear is leaving this world in worst shape for my children than it was when I came into it. Since 9/11 I have spent a lot of time thinking, reading and writing about things that always interested me but I never gave it very much time.

As a born and bred warrior, I say God speed and good luck. Let us hope one day, we will see the end of the vile side of man. Yet, it seems these days and centuries to be his growth industry. wink.gif

I have a question about your sig, ustrader...How am I supposed to tell what my opponent ISN'T saying....doesn't that require some kind of prior knowledge of his doings?

ya, but how are you supposed to tell what he's NOT saying....wouldn't you have to know a list of what he was planning on saying or have an idea?

We are approaching a new age of synthesis. Knowledge cannot be merely a degree or a skill... it demands a broader vision, capabilities in critical thinking and logical deduction without which we cannot have constructive progress.

I hate nothing...I hate no one.....my mind is pure w/out these thoughts....I have no views on whole populations....I do not defend Islamic Fascists....there is no such thing as Islamic Fascists...I have respect for them if they fight in battle, instead of blowing up innocent people...just as I do American troops...in the same respect...LOL, I'll have you know I've been bred for no such thing...my dad is a general pacifist...a realist, a great man...he keeps his family well and so does my mother...
YOU defend people who want to exterminate....you defend Nomad, who wants to drop a nuclear bomb and exterminate ALL MUSLIMS...he has no sense of the individual....I forget the psalms or whatever its called...I've only gone to church maybe 4 times w/ my friend...but I remember one saying...Some family was leaving a town god said he was going to destroy...the man begged god not to destroy it if there were at least 1000 good people there...God said he wouldn't if there were that many good people there...the man begged more and asked if 100 people were good, that god would not destroy it...god agreed....he begged more and asked if there were 10 good people that god wouldn't destroy it...god agreed....He begged more and asked if there was just one good person, that god wouldn't destroy it.....the point is, the death of one good person is not worth the death of thousands of bad....Not only that but killing only sparks revenge.. a never ending death cycle...

Islam and "The west" have been at war since the 7trh century, when the Armies of Islam first came surging out into Eastern Christendom, as manifested by the Orthodox Byzantine Empire, and conquered 2/3rds of Greater Christendom.

The Byzantine Empire then, faced with its own destruction, turned to Western Christendom, Catholic and later Protestant Europe, for aid, resulting in the Crusades, and other wars. Islam and the West have been at war even since. Thats a good 15 centuries of active warfare.

That starts a long time before oil deals with Saudi Arabia.

Christendom and Islam are simply incompatible as civilizations. They can't co-exist peacefully. They have never achieved peaceful co-existence and they never will.
