Gore_Lost
Ever notice how Mexico never assists Western nations during wartime? Most especially how they commit nothing to the effort in the war on terror? Compare the Mexican GDP and Military Abilities with Romania. You would think someone who is such a friend to the US would be bending over backwards to help its ally.

Why would Mexicans want to support bush's mistake in Iraq? You are trying to stir up war feelings with Mexico now?

Why should they committ to your effort in the "war on terror", maybe they see this rhetoric as the scam it is? smile.gif smile.gif

One of the primary ways that Mexico asserts its independence from the USA is to have a foreign policy that makes sense, especially that is in the best interests of Mexico, even when such policy is contrary to that of the USA. They never feared Communist Cuba, or Sandinista Nicaragua. Their anti-Communism was sensible, not irrational. Ronald Reagan seriously tried to scare Americans into thinking the Sandinistas would invade Harlingen, Texas (seriously, he actually and seriously said that), whereas the Mexicans knew the Sandinistas wouldn't leave Nicaragua, let alone cross the Suchiate River.

Mexico, partly through its own inability to keep its own territory, lost one-third of its land to the USA in wars they haven't forgotten. Mexico did take part in world war two.

I seem to recall that in the late 1930's, Romania's army was larger than the USA's army. Or maybe it was Bulgaria.

Gore Lost, So now you are targeting the entire country? How can you sleep at night knowing that people who have never met you before hate you. Think about that.

Mexico's military isn't trained in the military walfare, its training consist mostly in internal affairs, like fighting drug trafickers and keep peace in the country, mexico hasn't has a war since the mexico's revolution more than a 100 years ago.
