And what would you have rather seen, you adolescent genious? Would over 2 million US casualties, and perhaps as much as 5 million Japanese casualties have been better, had the invasion of the Japanese islands gone down? Would it be better to prolong the conflict for months longer, with billions of dollars more damage to the Japanese infrastructure?
In case your young and brilliant mind has overlooked this, the infrastructure of Japan was pretty much intact with the peace treaty. The US did not destroy the intustrial potential, and Japan was able to rebuild itself relatively quickly as a result. Did you not know this?
If you consider that abuse, perhaps you have some relatives, who may have been part of those casaulties. ....................Oh, I forgot, you are a Kraut, and your parents immigrated AFTER the war, so you have no family members in this fight.
You are just "involved" rather than "committed", right?
OMG.........The people who would have died would have been MEN who went to WAR and were SOLDIERS...instead we killed THOUSANDS of babies, women and children. Thats unacceptable. Maybe a few collateral people would have been killed, but it wouldn't have been nearly like what we did.....that was sick.

I'm not insulting his intelligence. What I am attacking is his ignorance, and desire to remain stuck in that position. Quite frankly, I have had to endure this constant, and ceaseless trumpeting of abject ignorance that has finally gotten to me.
And I am not alone here. The only other regular moderator, Ben, has thrown up his hands and checked out of here, out of frustration. And our little Collectivist adolescent is one of the major reasons why.
then thats him. I never told him to leave. His immaturity made him leave. I see no reason to dwell on it any longer. All I said was my opinion and you attack me for once again being "immature"...give me a break.
