Gop 4 life!
Do any of you think that Bush should drop Cheney?

I do, Cheney never really did anything for me.

I don't think that this is a desperation move either.

Bush/McCain- THIS WOULD ASSURE HIS RE-ELECTION, Independents LOVE him.
After all McCain should keep his friends close, but his enemies closer. However, I guess McCain campaigning for him is as far as he's going to go.

Bush/Rice, My personal favorite, I cannot put into words how much I am for this.
That woman is so intellegent and it would bring in so many female/African-American votes.

What do you think?
white stain
A Bush/Powell combination would be a good ticket too.
Thaiquila
Another smirking democrat for these tickets:

Bush / Ollie North

Bush / Daddy Bush

Bush / Jerry Falwell

Seriously, I think if Bush wants to win, he should dump Cheney. So I hope he doesn't dump him. McCain would be a strong choice, but it wouldn't have the same power as Kerry McCain would have, because would have represented a national unity ticket. Bush McCain would signal that McCain has sold his soul to the far right, a far more unappealing message.

I must confess that I like her also. But aren't you being terribly fickle here? First, it is not for you to decide the issue, and are you afraid that the dishonesty being put forth by Kooks like Thaiquila will not be heaped on to her as well.

Can you imagine the rukus that the NAASCP(National Association For the Advancment of Socialist Coloured People) would be if they couldn't control their token "You know What" on any ticket?

I think that you are sticking your finger in the wind and trying to see which direction the wind is blowing.

Aw, shucks. I was hoping to be able to see just what our resident intellect had to say. D2D2, you act to swiftly for your own good. Perhaps, Thaiquila would be kind enough to send me a personal copy of his remarks. I promise not to be rude. smile.gif

You have got to be kidding. This idea is profoundly ignorant. It shows you havent a clue who Dick Cheney is. Do a little reasearch before you post this nonsence.

He is one very qualified individual. If something did happen to Bush Cheney could easily step in as president. He is one of the most qualified men out there. He has nothing to appologize for. When he accepted the vice presidency he immediatly signed over his holding and stock options with Haliburton. Dont tell me you believe all the lefty liberal media lies that are bantered around?
He is anti-abortion and pro prayer in schools! I mean WTF! dont you study this at all Mr GOP!
BTY have you learned how to spell Ronald Reagan?
I dont mean to be mean but sometimes you need a little smack in the head I think.

John, you are constantly very rude to me.
So, moderators, it is OK for John L to run a smear campaign where he refers to me as a kook in multiple posts, but when I fight back and defend myself, I get censored.
Not fair.

McCain is my senator. I don't trust this guy. Acts too much like a lib. After Bush wins Cheney will resign and Bush will replace him with Colin which will set up 2008.
hillary vs. Powell. And Colin won't have a problem defeating that lying, stealing, coniving bucket of puke.

I do not see any benefit in choosing a different running mate. Yes, a Bush-McCain ticket might gather more votes, but Bush runs the risk of being rebuffed. Furthermore, McCain might not be a team player which would be a fiasco. I do not see Rice gathering any addditional Black vote. A Bush-Powell vote would be probably the same. with no net additional Black vote. Besides, I do not see the present ticket loosing.

By 2008, the country will be tired of the Bush administration, Cheney will probably not run for President, and the Republicans will be able to choose a fresh face to face off against Hillery. At that time they can ride the antiHillery vote to victory again.

Thai,

Also, the problem is most likely your language.

It's Hillary, Georgie, and for your information the US is already tired of the Bush Administration as is the rest of the world.

Oh Bob calm down, I know Cheney's a fine conservative and I know that he's very qualified.

I just thought that perhaps Bush could make more headway among minorities and Independent voters with someone like McCain or Rice.

It was just a nice thought.

I also know how to spell Reagan thank you very much.

LOL, polls suggest that this country likes Bush just fine. The rest of the world, please.

We don't need a multi-nationalist weakling who puts the needs of the French before ours thank you very much.

BTW, I like that picture.
bob
sorry gop I know I was being mean. (but the farewell mr "regan" thread got to me)
McCain disqualifies himself with his liberal voting record, ie. McCain Feingold.
Rice while she is a brilliant woman just does'nt have the depth of experience for the job.

Cheney on the other hand is actually better qualified for the job of president than GWB himself. GWB's strengh is having highly experienced men like Cheney, Powell and Rumsfeld working for him.

The problem I see is typical today, that few people look deeper than the surface. They are heavily influenced by maintream media.
"never underestimate the stupidity of the american voter"

Many dont seem to realize that the job of president is not a popularity contest.
We finally seems to have an administration that does'nt opperate at the whim of the polls.
Bush and Cheney both have the moral courage to take a stand on what is right and what is wrong.
Pauly Walnuts
A good pick for Bush? Mitt Romney...Governor of Massachusetts...(my Governor) who I do not support, as I am a Democrat.

Nonetheless, I think it would help him with some the the Northeast states.
mackin
sick boy that is the smartest comment posted here. Praising bush is like pleading insanity. Some might buy into his crap but the smart ones see right through it.
PS i like your posted pic and yes the world has had enough!! Vote Kerry
Pauly Walnuts
Oh yeah, that was a great post and pic.....reminded me of 8th grade. Same intellectual level too....I would expect no less from the looney liberals

McCain has been disgusted by Bush since Bush smear campaign against him in the 2000 election

He would be a fool to go with Bush. He shouldn't be trusted. He goes for the left, then go back to the right etc... he looks like a traitor, very unreliable.

Powell ? I don't think so. Word is that he has enough of Bush and his NeoCon administration. He wants out. He knows that the asylum is being run by the patients. I think he tried to quit after the WMD lies to the UN, but he has been put under pressure to stay. Also, he has apoligized publicly to the UN for presenting those "fake" evidence and to have lied to the all ambassadors on the UN security council. The apologies have been accepted. He wants out. He knows those guys are ######ing nutcases and can't be trusted.

Rice ? she is a psycho, but since you guys seem to love the Anti-Christ and that "Puppet Master" of Cheney, she should fit right in with your Nazi agenda.

In your dreams. Powell might be black but he is not stupid as you would like him to be. He wants out.
gideon2000uk
We really are hitting some new intellectual highs here! Where exactly does this administration have a Nazi agenda? And I can't work out if the comment about Powell is intended to be racist... but it does seem that you are implying that black people are stupid... was this your intention?

And you have the cheek to insult the intelligence of your right-wing critics...
