I just thought to punch this thread up. It is important.

We have twits on the forum who endlessly quote truly stupid people with their "twit-links" to people who do not have a clue.

Please...quote me. I know the realities. Or.....go to Orson Scott Card's articles at orneryamerican. He at least writes well enough to make millions of $$$

I have not accepted one $ for my essays here...though offerred.

Ken, I agree. I see these URL fights going on, and I don't bother to click the link. For one thing, it would take forever with my computer connection. I don't see it so much as a "My Mommie" competition as "My URL is better or stupiderest than your URL."

At least I got an article published in an expatriate newsletter this month. But I also haven't gotten one $ for the essay. There, here, or anywhere. It would be nice to be a published, PAID author. Molly Ivins, God rest her soul. She didn't make millions, but she lived as a writer, until the cancer took her.
