Libby Convicted of 4 of 5 charges of perjury (lying under oath).

Libby faces "potentially" 25 years. The most serious charge of perjury attempted obstruction of justice has a maximum sentence guideline of 10 Years. The less charges of 3 perjury convictions, lying un oath, carry a maximum of 5 years each.

Under Federal Sentencing guidelines, the time served will be concurrent, meaning he faces the maximum of 10 years ( longest max sentence, not one upon the other). Likely will serve 2 years or less.

I agree completly that lying under oath, if proven and found gulity is unacceptable and thus no one is above the law in that regard or committing any crime at all in these United States of America.

That is why in all thosem like myself, that agreed with that view must equally agree that as Libby was convicted as was Slick Willy Clinton conviction of Impeachment, Justice and the American way is preserved in fair and open way when anyone is commites perjury and obstruction of justice, as Libby was convicted of and thus should have been, like Libby and Clinton, held accountable for doing so.

The system works and we are still very free. America is not a Nazi state of eroding freedoms like our resident moonbats rant so often and this proves that unquestionably.

While it's great that Libby was found guilty, this trial hardly restores our Representative Republic.

The problem with supposition is the subjective suppose within it.

It, in a small way, standing against the ranting yells of tyranny and oppression, along with the recent election, goes farther to the opposite, in disproving any need for restoration in our Representative Governance than is given to prove it needs restoring in the first place.

I'm willing to bet that Libbey will be pardoned before Bush leaves office. Any takers?

He deserves as much as Clinton received from Congress who refused to remove him from office when he was impeached for lying under oath, which lying was much more proven than this farce case against Libby.

Actually, concerning the pararoids, I've met more of them under the age of 50. That's a disease of younger folks as they usually don't live long enough to be an old man or woman (frothing aside).
