Let's cut through the crapola. Civilization needs oil energy. We, (and me personally), worked our hineys off around the globe to find it, produce it, and bring it to market. The raghead dum dums who happened to be herding goats and camels there...would still be herding goats and camels there...except we happened to find oil there.

Keep in mind...arseannuli...we never swiped the darned oil, but paid for it in cash, in technology, and in sweat and hard hard work...a long way from home.

OKOK! our SOOOOOOOloyal European bretheren have gotten fat on our efforts....so far.

Seems to me we have essentially two choices: Nuke the goat-herders back to their comfortable 10th century "simplicity" and take the darned oil for ourselves.....or.....blow up the work we ourselves have done with conventional explosives and watch the stupid 10th century idiot goatfickers enjoy their goat-herding lives while we find energy elsewhere.

Canada has lot of oil-tar-sands. We can annex the Arabian peninsula. We can close the straights of Hormuz.

So why are we considered the bad guys?

Because we let the idiots paint us with those colors.

Europe, fish or cut bait.
Ragheads, enjoy the desert goat-herding gig.

...Americans...look forward to your sons and daughters going off to join the legions.

...and you silly persons who have more computergigs than sense...watch our smoke. We have blown you up twice, and we probably have to do it again.

If I may ask for a point of clarification: are you suggesting seriously that the USA bomb the Arabian peninsula with lots of nuclear warheads, rendering the oil fields unusable for several decades, and vaporizing several million souls in the process, including folks downwind from the fallout?

Do you think it is a likely consequence, if we don't nuke and pave the peninsula, that our grandchildren will be drafted to go and kill the goatfickers?

What does 'arseannuli' mean? It's not in my dictionaries.

What I read in Ken's post is that he's being facetitious about the oil issue as it's become such a headache to the developers of this product, the U.S. Others have profited also (including the Arabs and Euopeans), but we get the shaft and are labeled as the "bad guys" for being there and developing it. YOu know? ......the favorite pastime of many......kick the U.S.A. And, he's tired of it.

For that matter so am I.
