I've just looked at some latest news on the Excite browser about the war in Iraq and elsewhere. Every picture was of the supporters of the radicals in Iraq. I know there are pictures of the other side, but every time I look at these pictures, the negative ones are shown. I know there are positives going on in Iraq because of the sites created by soldiers over there, BUT NONE MAKE IT TO THE MAJOR NEWS SOURCES.

Why?

You cannot convince me that there isn't a bias against the war, despite the wins that have happened over there. Even if someone disagrees that we ARE winning, they'd have to admit that some good has been accomplished.........at least one thing. It would be impossible to have such a long war and NOT have something positive happen, but where is the pictoral and written evidence in the media? Can't the complainers about the war see why people are listening to the alternative media? ...........because the supposedly "balanced" media of the alphabet news isn't "balanced" at all.

Where are the positive stories/pictures in the mainstream media? There's gotta be some to be had. Where are they?

We just cancelled the the Az Republic. About a month ago they headlined their op-ed with a pic of US soldiers in a menacing position in an Iraqi house with the inhabitants cowering in fear. The pic was not real for if it was it would have been shown on CNN, MSNBC, Al Jazeera, etal. Solo, the MSM are not reporting the facts but are activley promoting their liberal agenda. But you know that.

Solo, the idiots on this board just never got an education. Nevermind their childishness. They simply know no better.

Newsies jobs are about selling newspapers and air time. It is no more complicated than that, and year by year we graduate stupider children..... Our bad.

Because lame, boring "positive" news doesn't sell well to the public. People love to see tragic, bloody news. Why do you think people in cars slow down when they see a guy changing a flat tire in a freeway? They love to see "train wrecks".
