Hello from Great Britain!

I just thought I would post to reassure the Republicans of America that there are some people over here who are absolutely sick of the rising tide of Anti-Americanism and Anti-Semitism which seems to be sweeping across the continent of Europe.

I'm glad America exists... and I'm glad you have a strong leader like George W. Bush who doesn't give a ###### what stupid liberals around the world, and within America think of him.

Thankyou for help during World War 1, lend-lease and military support during World War 2, your leadership and resolve during the Cold War and for leading the world in it's new struggle against terrorism and those states who would seek to support it.

Without a strong Republican vote in the next election America will be weakened, and will be unable to respond to the threats that will be faced in the next 4 years... you must not allow this to happen...

VOTE FOR GEORGE W. BUSH!

Thanks Gideon. BTY, did the computer setting eliminate the use of your Anglo-Saxon verbal heritage, or did your do it on your own? smile.gif

And his FIRST POST too!!!

Everyone here thinks George W. Bush is an idotic moran likely to start WW3, and they think you guys are all stupid! (a little ironic really)

I have yet to meet anyone else in Britain who genuinely likes George W. Bush.. and we are supposed to be your biggest allies!

At the BBC (the Baghdad Broadcasting Corparation) a television presenter was sacked for calling arabs 'limb amputater and women oppressers' whilst another television personality remained in his post after comparing the Jews to Nazis...

This side of the pond is a scary place for a Conservative to live (particularly a recent convert like myself), can you guys reassure me that Bush will get back in. I know he is going up in the polls, and that no incumbent President has ever been removed in wartime, but somehow I am still a little concerned...

Gideon, There are only three certainties in life: death, taxes, and a small elite who are convinced of their own superiority. smile.gif

I truely believe that GW has the inside track on victory. And what helps him is that third certainty I mentioned above. He is constantly "misunderestimated", which makes him an inigma to those elites. How can someone so stupid, keep winning?

Obviously, it is a Right Wing Conspirancy, and too many stupid idiots fell for it.

Gideon,
As an American liberal pro-Kerry supporter, I don't give a fig what you think as a non-American about who should be the next American president.
But thanks for sharing.

You forgot to add the little phrase "so called" to the sentence. More accurately, it would read, " As an American "so called" liberal pro-Kerry supporter," cool.gif

You are all a bunch of HYPOCRITES.
When it is clear that the vast majority of the world population and leaders want to defeat Bush, you say, HOW DARE they try to interfere with our internal politics!
Now, when I do the same, you attack me.
Unbelievable.
bob
It would be ok though for him to criticize Bush, right. wink.gif
gideon2000uk
So you dislike minorities? You're not a very good liberal my friend... what is happening to freedom of speech in America?

My concern is for the future of this planet, and the effect on the freedom defecit should this president be kicked out of office...

Mr. Bush is just following the great legacy of Ronald Reagan by fighting for freedom, and ensuring that more people in the world enjoy freedom compared to the number who had that liberty when he came to power.

At least George W. Bush is clear, and has a vision for America. I can't tell what the #### Kerry stands for!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

P.S. - Why don't we switch places? you clearly belong over here with the loonies in Europe.

Thank you sir, I was starting to worry about our strongest ally, you've reassured me that the real England still exists, I new it was still there under all that ignorant anti-Americanism.

I am an 18 year old conservative Republican and proud supporter of George Walker Bush.

Yes, President Bush wants to spread freedom throughout the world, his incredible optimism is a big part of why I support him so strongly.

America, UNDER BUSH, will continue to be a positive force for freedom and good in the world.

Believe me sir I know how much is at stake, I am a grassroots supporter of President Bush and I will do everything in my power to stop that French-appeasing dirt bag.

Your thanks for our help in the Wolrd Wars is appreciated, but remember, you will always be our mother country, if you never would've existed, we wouldn't either.

My father is such a huge Anglophile, he loves you guys so much.

I myself am a huge Francophone of old France, this makes for very interesting debates between him and I.

Well anyway, glad to have you!

Sambo is a RASCIST term. Stop it.
I feel the same. The right wing is extremely hypocritical. You find one limey who likes Bush and applaud international support, but are deaf to the majority anti Bush voices accross the world.
My consistent feeling is that Americans must decide for themselves. Period.

I completely agree that Americans should have the sole input in the winner of the next election...
So could you please ask North Korea, Russia, France and Germany to keep their opinions to themselves and out of the press.

This is what is called humour (irony) in England. It's a type of humour unknown in America. Very witty gideon. I imagine you're sitting at your computer terminal laughing to yourself and thinking how dumb everyone else is. This is hardly fair as your exploiting cultural differences to make others look foolish.

Gideon's first post actualy reveals a lot. Nobody likes President Bush (moran ?) in europe. Everyone is scared that he's about to start world war III.
Gop 4 life!
No, LIBERALS are scared of this.

They also think that he's Hitler's reincarnation.

Sambo is a racist term. Personal attacks, racist remarks, and name-calling are not permitted in this forum. Please go back and read the Board Rules before you post again.

Could I just disrupt this sillyness and name calling to ask you guys a question. ..

When I see a politician on television what does the American flag on his lapel signify? I had always assumed that they were all republicans..

You must be watching Fox News, or Sky News. The pin signifys that the wearer is a patriotic American, who believes that we were attacked with provocation. The Kooky Left would not allow themselves to do so. It's something akin to a vampire wearing a cross, or carrying garlic around. cool.gif

And you are indeed correct. Things are quite silly. In fact, it is worse than that.

It is a sign of an excess of hypernationalism now rampant in the US.
Both republicans and democrats sport the flags.
It is a way of conforming and it shows that masses of people live in fear of being labelled terrorist sympathizers by the millions of neofascists such as Gop 4 Life.
I detest such excessive hypernationalism in any country, my own or any other.
History has shown again and again that no good comes of it.
gideon2000uk
I always respect these people for displaying their pride in their great nation for all to see... I though you liberals were only ANTI-BUSH and not ANTI-AMERICAN...

You guys should also be proud that your national identity is all embracing. It is a wonderful model, which I would like to see emulated in Britain.
