With 12 years of hindsight, it doesnt seem that it is a very effective solution.

Seems more than reasonable to me. Of course the resistance must first overwhelm the status quo. That is the part that I anxiously await.

I am a devoted believer that from the ideas of words, there is always the potential for a footprint to action and deed, which are in the end the only things that can make change. Like is in the euphoria of hope for a yet unseen utopia in the west, I see no such footprints to action and or deed discernable, in plain view as to this issue within the greater Community and Culture that encompass Islam, nor, as to the consequences of blinded utopian visions in the west.

Islam like others with excepts of differing group dynamics, is at its core, in majority, a system of life as much as a religion that acts as a rather inflexible basis of lifestyle, social mores, economic principals and legal foundations for how such societies and individuals act, behave and thus see themselves and thus, in context, see the rest of the Non-Islamic world. Other societies have such inflexible principles embedded in their religions and cultures but they in a vast percentage are not herald in basis by a majority as the ultimate influence in their cultures, societies behaviors and perspectives as is Islam. This is of course my humble opinion which like most opines are often equally as right as wrong.

I find it interesting your links lead us to a French owned and based web site owned by person of Iranian Persian origins that uses a “LanMind” Berkley based bastion of overwhelmingly far left propensities to express its views.

Oddly, a site run by those whose well known propensities as a group ideology is a combination of Islamic theology with Marxist social policies who were and are as Anti-American as the current Theocratic of Iran, differentiated only by being devoted Communist who equally would seek the end of Western Democratic Republics and their freedoms.

Massoud Rajavi (Persian: مسعود رجوی) is the leader of People's Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI) which is merely version 2.0 of the Current Islamic Theocracy now seeking their own destruction, sadly, while their people do not know how much and how close, not to immortality, but to mortal devastation of danger these leaders of biblical Armageddon have brought them.

That is all!
