Would welcome Bearpitter feedback on this video-illustrated version of my civil disobedience story. I was jailed earlier this year for handing respectful leaflets to IRS workers, then refusing to pay the Federal "distribution of handbills" fine...a penalty which violates Amendments One and Ten. But I was not alone even then!

Now, Ron Paul has advocated civil disobedience...and he has millions of dedicated supporters. I wonder if some of them will step forward with civil disobedience of their own?

You weren't jailed for handing out the leaflets, and either you know as much or you are a goofball.

Technically you're right, on paper I was jailed for contempt (for refusing to pay them when they tried to fine me)

In practice however, I'm sure you realize that the belief you have a right to hand a petition to a government worker is what's driving this.

Thanks for the response.

Some in man are so weak, so mad, yet so certain, doomed to be lost. They have everything, see nothing, and are able to use less in not knowing what they do not know.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.” Plato

Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous.-Confucius

Here are those empowered by only the perils of their lost labors saying little to even fewer who bother to listen.

That is all!!
