On topic, I remember reading an autobiography of an American POW who rained down bombs (quite possibly napalm) from his fighter plane, which got hit, and he had to eject. The Vietnamese who found him tried to murder him, but a VC officer rescued him. Would that have been McCain's autobiography?

I recently met an American expatriate who researched and found statements by John McCain in Newsweek. After being a POW, he said that years in a prison camp and solitary confinement (as he had been) would almost surely make a man crazy. This same American also easily found a report of a hijinx on an aircraft carrier, piloting a jet plane in a lineup, which caused one of his own rockets to fire, killing 150 American sailors! Also, that McCain graduated near the bottom of his class at Annapolis, compared to Obama being the editor of Law Review at Harvard or Yale. Obama has repudiated his crazy pastor, and I think McCain has had to distance himself from the equally crazy pastor, John Hagee of San Antonio.

It is going to be one very nasty general election campaign.

In his navy career, McCain lost only 3 Aircraft, one in early years of training, adjudicated by an Official Naval Board of Inquiry as caused by Mechanic failures. The other one he was shot down in. The third ,the one destroyed in the Fire on the Forrestal which was as well adjudicated by an Official Naval Board of Inquiry as caused by a failure of the Maintenance Crew on the F4 Phantom, who let loose the missile, to properly maintain standard preventive ordinance fire control procedures.

Truth:

McCain was on the flight deck waiting to take off with an attack force. He was one of two fully loaded fueled and weapons loaded A4 Skykawks sitting and awaiting takeoff in rotation at the time.

At the Corp of this easily debunked fabrications of smear that this at the core of this virus spew, is some fabricated rumors from alleged unnamed crew member who, conveniently, cannot in any way reliable way be independently identified or collaborate, as to who and what, if anything, they said. One site started it and numerous Putsch Network lefists have subsequently spread it since.

The originator site asserts, rather lamely and ill informed militarily speaking, that McCain was responsible for the death of 150, really 134 crewmen of the Forrestal, because he “ wet started” his A4. They assert, void of how easily their smear can be factually debunked, that the jet wash from that wt start, caused the Pilot in the “F4 Phantom “ to fire his “Zuni 5” missile into McCain external Fuel tank. Thus, this started the series of fires and bomb cook offs that resulted in the death of 134 crew members that July day at Yankee Station off the North Vietnamese coast.

Look at this deck diagram: ( McCain is aircarft 416, the missile was fired form aircraft 410 )



Now you will note the positioning of the all aircraft.

Beyond what anyone real person of knowledge who has been on a deck during a launch knows, is what is ASOP for lineup and startupas outlined in photo. You can see Aircraft 110 “the F4 whose Zuni missile fired” is NOT behind McCain’s aircraft AT ALL. In fact, “McCain’s Aircraft No. 416” was directly opposite the missile firing F4 on the Flight deck, at a minimum, some 30 feet forward towards the bow, pointing inward, at a standard 45 degree on the Starboard side from the missile firing F4. So even if some deranged crew member recalled McCain “wet started” his aircraft, his jet wash would have been overboard outward and completely opposite and away from the 4F that indisputably fired the missile into either McCain belly tank or the A4 next to him.

Second, any flight crew member or deck crew member knows during ”hot Ops,” the “Arming pins for ordinance” are not removed, except by gross error, until the aircraft has actually been set on the cat for launch. With arming pins in place the missile CANNOT be accidently fired by the air crew.
THUS, once again FITS your bellowing nimrods from the DOOMocrat’s Putsch, have lamely made up facts, easily disputed by the slightest of investigations.

Obviously honest facts are not what they and pr those who unquestionable listen to them wish to, nay, CAN spread, I think is far more appropriate and factual for these researchers of onesided fabrication, looking and living, doom and gloom, as best they can.
