Almost nobody cares if former wars were unjustified. They assume that the wars were fought, therefore they must have been just-if-I-had gotten God's blessing. If Grandpa fought there, it must have been righteous to kill all those unChristian Germans, Italians, Japanese, North Koreans, Buddhist Vietnamese, et al., who must have deserved to go to Hel.l. If you mention the conquest of the Americas by the Spanish, English, and French, then people yawn, denying the possibility that their sacred ancestors sinned. Worship the flag, worship the State, and God ends up in last place.
G. W. Bush did not spend America's last penny. Congress did, for 93 years. Bush just gave Contgess an extra excuse to push the national debt to more than 50 or 60 TRILLION now.
The piety of some peoples hubris, nescience, or Hyperbole, hey fits?
This is you hey!

1.) We agree, Sole Constitutional Authority on raising Revenues and SPENDING has ALWAYS laded exclusively at the feet of Congress.
2.) Yet, there are nuances of difference. The United States total public debt, commonly called the national debt, or U.S. government debt, is the amount of money owed by the United States federal government to creditors who hold U.S. debt instruments. Current the official Pubic debt stands at just over $ trillion with as long as a 30 year payment plan in terms.
UNFUNDED CONGRESSIONAL mandated entitlements of an ESTIMATED $59.1 Trillion include such things as that historically majority controlled Democratic preference for a perpetually OVER SIZED BUREAUCRACY. Your Federal Employee retirement funds of $14,374 per household or 2.78% of that 59.1 trillion debt is included. What is that 1.643 Trillion of “unfunded” Congressional mandates, why yes it is.

Some germane facts;
BALANCE DUE
The cost per U.S. household of unfunded promises made by federal, state and local government:
Medicare $255,280 (49.44%)
Social Security $144,251 (27.94%) =77.3% of total UNFUNDED national debt
Federal debt $43,380 (8.84%)
Military benefits $25,863 (5.01%)
State and local debt $17,537 (3.4%)
Federal civil- servant benefits $14,374 (2.78%)
State and local retiree benefits $13,114 (2.54%
Other federal obligations $2,548 ( .049 OF 1%)
Total $516,348
Bottom line: Taxpayers are now on the hook for a record $59.1 trillion in liabilities, a 2.3% increase from 2006. That amount is equal to $516,348 for every U.S. household.
Obama’s Doomocratic Health Care and high tax, lower revenue and productivity plans would conservatively, at a minimum, triple the unfunded national debt you lament in false blame, to somewhere between $150 Trillion and $200 Trillion.
No amount of defense cuts, even, to near zero, nor, even an unconstitutional Hugo Chavez like nationalization of all health care will make up that over burdening UNFUND mandate for universal health care as Prophesized by the Obama Nationalist of flawed hope and a prayer.
In the end despite the incessant hyperbolic of false populism, it has been, and is, and will more than likely remain, under a doomocratic controlled Congress; SPENDING!!
That is all!!
