Well, it has been ALONG time... I have been traveling and such and remembered the many great and insightful conversations I had here, in the Bear Pit!

I've missed it all I am sure, but, just for the sake of figuring out where everyone stands, I thought I'd start with Obama.

Is it me, or has the American populace been scammed? Obama - for change? I don't get it, sure, Hitlery has her many faults, but at least she can win...

Thoughts?

Welcome back, it is very slow here now.

Though, I am already prepared to vote against the DOOMocrats to the last, I am accommodating, in gleeful hope of being gladly wrong, the role of insurgents dissent, like, but hopefully more affective, the doomocrats and the left coasters here have so angrily these many years.

Any whoose on topic, it appears, IMHO, as the tea leafs NOW float, with the "yellow press" Obama PUSH. Combined with the low bar standard, seemingly acceptable within the “polls” of an American, "anything but" psyche, we are on course to a duh and nope thought speak of +/- 54 to 57 DOOMS in the Senate, aligned in similar sweeps of + 25 or +30 more DOOM gains in the House.

With the weakest link, apparent inclusive of this Obama/Hillary media super star hysteria which exists between the extremes of the left coasts, the Chicago Gang-sta Hip Hope, and utopian Hope and Romanism. We, most of us anyhow, poll, in fevered “MESSIAH COMPLEX,” focuses not on, WHAT CAN BE DONE, today, nor even tomorrow. BUT instead in the narcissism’s of yesterday, on WHAT HAS NOT BEEN DONE, or WHAT MIGHT BE DONE, this idea of low bar utopian populism vetted, not in fact, but the usual obscurity of false hope and Jimmy Carter realities.
My opinion anyway.

That is all.

P.S. CAN I VOTE NOW? blink.gif popcorn.gif

Completely agree with you, reggie. However, I'm not for the Dems right now.

I'll second Trader's welcome back. I was away for a while myself.

Reggie, welcome back to what is left of Bearpit. I am not bald, and I am proud of it. cool.gif Reviewing some of your posting history here, it appears you have made more comebacks than Rocky Balboa.

Obama it is. The race is on for real. I do not know. Obama is more like "change" than the older senator or Hilary. Obama has the rhetoric of an orator, although that is not enough to show true leadership. Not much of a choice, as usual, between candidates.

Obama is growing on me. Relax and go with the flow. He will grow on you too!

I have the distinct feeling that when all the dirt goes public, you will find Obama is merely another sleazy Illinois politician.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah, sure, more or less. Doesn't change the outcome: President Obama. Don't be afraid, you racists.

Yeah just like a tumor. Sambo makes Jimmy Carter look smart.
