John McSame offers nothing to the 45 million uninsured Americans. In fact, his fascist free market ideas (even more power to the evil insurance companies) would make access for sick Americans even worse ( if that is even possible).

Obama's proposals, thought not as good as Clinton's, and not as good as what we really need, a Canadian or French single payer universal system, does offer real hope.
Health care access is a national crisis and a national shame.
We build hospitals in Iraq yet let our own people die for lack of simple preventative medical care.
Our businesses are made uncompetitive with the rest of the world because they have been burdened with health insurance costs, when all the smart countries realize a nationalized system is an absolutely necessity, as vital as roads and water.
Reject the sick old dying dinosaur phony war hero McSame, and vote for real hope and real change and a real future for America. God bless America and God dAM the fascist right wingers who are holding us back, and killing their own people with their vulgar selfishness.

One thing that is desperately needed is some sort of legislation from the democratic congress that limits liability in frivolous law suits filed by ambulance chasing attorneys.

Oh, I forgot, Osama Obama and Michelle are both attorneys. Won't happen on their watch.

I agree with you. Good idea. But what is desperately needed by the 45 million Americans without health insurance is health insurance. If you seriously think the current access crisis can be solved by limiting liability, you are insane.

I agree with you. Good idea. But what is desperately needed by the (45.995 million Americans-MINUS Offically 17.14 million NON-Americans)=29.855 million AMERICANS without health insurance is health insurance. If you seriously think the current access crisis can be solved by limiting liability, you are insane.

Now for more reality fact checking;

Twenty-nine percent (29%) of American adults favor a national health insurance program overseen by the Federal Government. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 39% oppose such a government-led initiative while 31% are not sure.

The survey also found that 46% believe the quality of care would decrease under a national health insurance program while 16% believe that quality would increase. Twenty percent (20%) say the quality of care would remain about the same while 18% are not sure.

At the same time, 42% believe the cost of health care would increase while 25% would expect prices to go down.

While opposing a national program overseen by the federal government, Americans support requiring companies to provide health insurance for their employees. Sixty-three percent (63%) favor such a requirement while 24% are opposed.

An earlier survey found that just 31% rate the U.S. health care system as good or excellent.

At the same time, people give much higher reviews to their own health care coverage.

Another survey found that half of all Americans say they support providing free health care for all citizens. However, support for free coverage drops dramatically if it would require changing to a new insurance program.

The current survey found strong partisan differences on all questions.

Republicans strongly oppose national health insurance by a 59% to 25% margin. Democrats are more evenly divided—35% of Democrats favor, 26% oppose, and 39% are not sure. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 25% favor national health insurance overseen by the federal government.

Thirty-five percent (35%) of unaffiliateds oppose such a program while 38% are undecided

Summary:

Summary:

17.140 million or 36.472% of the over used number of 46.995 million over hyped uninsured are Illegal’s and non-US citizens.
Hispanics make up 8.059 million or 47.702% of ALL uninsured illegal non-us-citizens.

Of the over hyped, 46.995 million uninsured, 8.964 million or 19.01% make $75,000 or more a year. Of that an astonishing number, 65.72% are whites, who are likely college educated, young and liberals.

Even more astounding IN CHOICE, is that those at or above the media US income of 46,000, some 8.992 million or 19.13% of this overhyped uninsured make between $50 and $75,000 a year.

That is 32.096 million or 68.83% of ALL reported uninsured which are either non-us citizens and or are those uninsured by FREE WILLED choice, who make more than $50,000 or more a year, MORE THANTHE MEDIAN income of ALL us citizens..

That is not a crisis in HEALTH INSURANCE coverage, it is crisis in overhyped lies and personal choices of responsibility!!

THAT IS ALL!!

The health care access crisis is most definitely real. Anyone who denies that isn't paying attention. The time for change to solve this crisis is now, with the grand old democratic party.

TQ:

While I will be the first to give you the benefit of the doubt on your reading comprehension, if you will try again on my statement you will notice I said..."ONE thing that is desperately needed, etc, etc".

The operative phrase being, "ONE THING".

Try again.

Perhaps you will attempt to disprove the evidence I gave in those government surveys I provided. Not likely, to you only hearing it, or saying it and that makes it unquestionably so. Sad really, a mind is a terrible thing to waste in the robotics of liberal unquestioning groupthink myopic.

It is not that there IS NOT SOME problem in the truly needed needing health care. IT IS the quantity of the lefts and democrats distortion and outright propagandized lies used to emphasis, falsely the size and scope of the problem.

The 32% of 46.995 million who are US citizens and who do not make more than $50,000 a year deserve and do get help via many programs both at the Federal, State and local level.

Try going to public health services and hospitals and you will see the freeloaders leaving in expensive cars, dressed in brand name cloths going to their mortgages house, with cable, high speed internet, and having lots of club fare, but no insurance fare.

They willingly shirk their responsibilities or game the systems and pass on to others the cost, they choice to not pay, while over burdening and depleting resources at the expense of the truly needy within an already adequate, though in need of tweaking, free health care systems.

Have you visited a free heath care system, try it in an honest look and you will see what is self evident that the nut root left you listen to is wholly clueless about.

How can one forget the milions of illegal immigrants also receiving free medical?

Send them back south and let their own country take care of them.

TQ, this qualifies as "another thing".

Well, yes and no.
I would like to see a path for legalization for those illegals already established here, and can document it.
For the needed temporary labor, we need to register them, and also offer them basic health care, with a provision to deport after stabilization for cases which become a burden on the state.
We need immigration. We need low wage alien labor. These aliens also happen to be human beings with medical needs. The right and the left know the truth of this.

The people that need health insurance the most, and most desperately want to buy it, cannot buy it. That is a fact. That is the heart of the crisis and Barack Obama is coming on his black horse to fix it, and don't think you fascists who don't care if sick Americans die are going to stop him!

TQ logic only liberals can be capable and worthy of compassion, caring and the intellectual foresight to decipher unsubstantiated dribble from indisputable fact, a reality of nary a TQ reality, it was ever to be.

Yet you still avoid the issues as they disprupt you cult of inconvienent untruths. Illegal Aliens and those who make over $50,000 a year who CHOICE not to buy Health Insurance.

You pick a state and pick an age for a working employed person under age 60, who makes $50,000 a year and I will show you they CAN afford to buy insurance on $50,000 a year, but make other choices NOT TO.

Lets play TQ put up or shut up, what do you say rolleyes.gif ohmy.gif

People with pre-existing conditions cannot buy health insurance at any price. Most everyone over 40 or 50 has these conditions. That is the proof, you fascist idiot.

Your proof, dufus:
QUOTE
Many experts are skeptical of the GOP approach, because under current conditions it is often more difficult to buy health insurance as an individual. People with preexisting conditions face high fees and can often be denied coverage.
