What do you think?
Obviously the man was pure evil, however, that does not negate the fact that his ideas weren't revolutionary to his people, and his military.
I believe him to be a mix of both.
Madman:
+ Mein Kampf shows his mind going from wanting to be a beacon of hope for his people and his views, to spiraling out of control and showing how ruthless he wanted to be.
+ The corruption fed to him by the Fuhrer cult, led him to believe ( as well as the members ) that he was the new messiah
+ The rantings about the Jewish people and the bane on society that he believed they were. As well as the hatred of the Catholic church.
Genius:
+ His oratory gift to mesmerize masses upon masses of people.
+ The V-1 and V-2 rocket was way ahead of it's time and is the grandfather of many of our world's current weaponry.
+ Use of the internal combustion engine, something that The Dangerous summer of 1940 shows us wasn't truly utilized to it's full potential by the Allies.
+ Eugenics and his breeding camps. These camps led to thoughts of cloning etc... which then were un-heard of. (p.s. the whole Texas sect thing is a perfect example of how it COULD have happened).
These are just a few points on both aspects, what do you all think?
