When i said the American government should root out the corruption in the oil industries, you said "in other words fascism". So do you propose that the corruption in the oil companies should be left fester as it is, that it is a problem nor is morally wrong etc?
Also, there is no point in talking about what could or should have been done in the past. The fact of the matter is that the issues faced by our governments today are more complicated. Investing more in alternative fuels like hydrogen powered fuel cells and stuff like nuclear power would reduce America's strong dependency on oil massively- what do you see as wrong with this? Drilling more oil isn't the only way to solve the problem, i am sure you can comprehend this?

CC, please provide specific examples of this so called corruption, and do spare us the penny anti shennanigans that went on in Denver. This is a trillion dollar industry.

But i guess in your eyes there's nothing wrong about years of substance abuse, promiscuity, and other illegal behavior like accepting gifts, and a complete lack of adherence and acceptance of government ethical standards overall, and it would be "fascist" to root such people out of the system ? Well I guess you won this one. It makes perfect sense to me that if a handful of bozos among the millions that are employed by the oil industry are corrupt the rest of those million plus employees are corrupt as well.

Following that logic you will also agree that all muslims are sub human scum because of a minority of muslim bozos have murdered over 10,000 people in cold blood over the last decade.
