Full Version: Katie Couric: Lying Whore
Political Topics And Discussion > All Things Political > US Political Topics

In her interview with Couric, Palin said she would use diplomacy on Iran, but not without preconditions. Palin said Kissinger agrees.

After the interrogation of Palin was over, Katie felt she had to "correct" this. Couric said Kissinger supports talks with Iran "without preconditions."
That is a blatant lie.

Here's what Kissinger said about Iran:

"Negotiating directly" and "without preconditions" are two completely different things.

Yup, sure glad the media isn't in the tank for Obama and covering for his lies and misinterpretations. It was OBAMA who said he would meet with Iran without preconditions, not Kissinger.

So, what's new? MSM has been in the liberal's pocket for years. I started calling Katie........"the Witch Couric" when she was still with the Today show. Predictably, she's losing her current show because she just can't draw the crowds.

Good! smile.gif

Palin can't answer a single frigging question! laugh.gif

Actually, she answers one, saying that she hasn't decided whether or not she will support a moratorium on home forclosures.

Also, Couric is way hotter than Palin. smile.gif

Every honest person will already admit this.

People loved to call Barack and empty suit, but I think the real hollow entity here is Palin. She was picked for this job because she has a vagina and crazy evangelical beliefs. That's all. This is also why McCain is so desperate not to let her be interviewed, not to let her campaign on her own, and wants to cancel the VP debates.

If you really must know I do have 1/5th of "blackness" in me. smile.gif

And as for my opionion about the debate Palin/Biden debate.

I'm sorry but I can't help but me very surprised about many analysts' opinions that Palin bolstered McCain's campaign tonight and may have even won this debate. That surely wasn't my assessment (and I am predisposed to being anti-McCain/Palin at all; I am genuinely an independent and will probably vote for Obama but am not absolutely inflexible regarding that). What I saw tonight was very little substance or specificity from Palin. She was composed and her demeanor was likeable but she didn't bring any "mustard." I realize that just rolling off a copius amount of facts and statistics isn't a way to win a debate, either, and it may obscure the overall point you're trying to project on any given issue. Still, this isn't a stump speech or talking points- this is a vice presidential debate, for goodness sakes. dry.gif

The MSM and TV celebrities have tried their best to make her look incompetent with their edited interviews (thank you Witch Couric and Gibson) and by dredging up minuscule facts and by fabricating what they couldn't find, which impression she definitely dispelled tonight! She whipped Biden's butt, who was wrong on 10 issues which he misrepresented tonight. And, 87% of the viewers of the debate tonight agree. Preeeettttyy D.a.m.n.e.d good for someone who has been "doing this for five weeks now" vs someone who has been doing it for 35 years. rolleyes.gif

And,FOX is the most watched TV News in the country by Democrats AND Republicans (75% ratings vs 25% for the rest of the media combined), so don't tell me those people's views are skewed to the conservative side unless you are trying to say that 87% of the voter viewers in this country who watch FOX are conservatives. If they are, liberals have a lot to worry about. smile.gif

I'm sure the MSM (who definitely is skewed due to their small population (25%) of leftist viewers .......that's the reason they have lost so much viewership) will come up with their own polls showing the opposite. I'll take the poll taken by the news program watched by the most amount of people in this country.

Even the guy she beat in the race for governor of Alaska has been won over by her, saying he was wrong in thinking she couldn't be a good leader. He was even at her party in Alaska tonight. ( Fully expecting the low intelligentsia of the board to try to minimize by attacking the people of Alaska now.)

BTW, I spotted talking points on Biden's side as well to the point of misusing facts that the talking points do, as well as spokespersons for the B.O./Biden side, after the show, one who got totally flustered when she was asked point blank some questions to answer on her own after she spilled the talking points against Palin (obviosuly pre-programmed). She couldn't.

Fox is a Bush propaganda organ and everyone knows that. McCain voted with Bush over 90 percent of the time. Now Bush is the least popular president in polling history. Right wingers, please grow up, YOU HAVE LOST!

You are assuming, of course, that Obama was even present to vote. Remember, he's been running for President for the majority of his time in the Senate. At least, McCain was present to be voting. dry.gif

Also, here is McCain's record according to FastCheck:
According to Congressional Quarterly's Voting Studies, in 2007 McCain voted in line with the president's position 95 percent of the time – the highest percentage rate for McCain since Bush took office – and voted in line with his party 90 percent of the time. However, McCain's support of President Bush's position has been as low as 77 percent (in 2005), and his support for his party's position has been as low as 67 percent (2001).

Here is Obama's record:
I counted a 194 NV's *Not Voting, Excused, Absent, or Present*. 551 total votes and 194 NV's gives a 35% rate of not voting.
And,
When doing so, they may wish to consider that Obama's votes were in line with the president's position 40 percent of the time in 2007. That shouldn't be terribly surprising. Even the Senate's Democratic leader, Harry Reid of Nevada, voted with Bush 39 percent of the time last year, according to the way Congressional Quarterly rates the votes.

Soooo, 35% of not voting at all + 40% voting with Bush = 75%. Not really a good indicator that he's so much different from McCain who has voted as low 77% and 76% with Bush in the past.
