From another forum me and my other liberal friends got into a debate with some conservative. He is a self professed Christian.
He says that he can't vote for Obama because he is a Muslim. He actually posted one of the right-wing article to back up his claim. My friend came along with two articles proving this to be false and he was gracious enough to admit maybe he was wrong.
I am in the kitchen at work heating up my lunch when a guy from my job comes in. He says, "So bud, what do you think of this Obama guy?" I told him I liked him. He says, "WHAT?? How can you say that? You know he's a Muslim, right?" I told him that first of all, that isn't true and second, I don't care about his religion. He says, " I got an email this morning telling me he is a Muslim!" I went and printed four news articles to show him this wasn't true. I am eagerly waiting for his reply.

Yeah i agree the whole Obama Muslim thing is a total email rumor and has no truth to it at all, and like you (i agree with you), i don't really care much either way about his religion.
The fact that people who believed the rumor and looked down upon Obama for being Muslim just goes to show how badly cultural/religious relations have gotten between certain groups in America under Bush's rule.
