For those deluded folks who still believe there is no difference between Dangerous Dubya and John F. Kerry (Nader supporters?), check out this link:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/artic...5-2004Jul3.html

Looking forward to a major bounce in the polls for Kerry as he announces his vice president and onwards to the convention. There is a lot of pressure on Kerry to perform brilliantly at the convention, and his track record shows, he is up to the pressure, as well as up to the job of replacing the mistake.

Sorry Thaiquila, but I just don't see where the article shows that your description of "Dangerous Dubya" is justifies. Now this,
QUOTE
The party platform also reproaches the administration for its economic policies, arguing that Bush has ignored the needs of middle-class Americans in favor of the wealthy, failed to produce enough new jobs and squandered the budgetary surpluses he inherited.
.
This is nothing more than class warfare, designed to sway the majority of the middle class out and against those evil middle class who are producing more and reaping more benefits for their "smart and hard work". This is typical of Collectivists/Socialists such as you.
QUOTE
The 16,000-word document skirts some potentially divisive issues within the party, particularly with regard to Iraq. A strong majority of Democrats believes it was a mistake for the president to launch the war in Iraq, but the platform says only, "People of good will disagree about whether America should have gone to war in Iraq."

This is a classic case of trying to have your cake and eat it too. It's called "Double Speak": a tactic designed to appear reasonable to the average voter, yet at the same time siphon votes from the Nader camp. I am not surprised, are you?
QUOTE
While the platform calls for increasing the size of the U.S. military by 40,000 troops, it takes no position on whether more U.S. forces are needed in Iraq. Instead, the document says the United States must find support from other countries. "We must truly internationalize both politically and militarily; we cannot depend on a U.S.-only presence" in Iraq.

Same thing here as above. The only difference is that Kerry would rather have the USA wed to the UN, and depend on the world collective, and their opinion: not what is necessarily for the good of the USA.
QUOTE
Seeking to show that Democrats can be trusted to fight terrorism, the platform repeatedly pledges a comprehensive and aggressive set of anti-terrorism policies. At the same time, it attempts to walk a fine line between the political need to demonstrate toughness and the desire to emphasize international cooperation, in contrast to Bush's policies

I think that what is meant here is the use of the most important means of self defense that the Left uses. Harsh Language!
Awh!, I simply cannot go on, but hopefully the reader will get the message. And that message is that you, sirah, are as usual looking at things through not just rose coloured glasses, but "red tinted" ones. wink.gif
